Merry Christmas!

Hey, everyone! How was your Christmas? Ours was amazing.... Perfect.

God is so good... can you imagine giving your only Son to the world like that?

And guess what!? Christmas has only just started....  you know the twelve days of Christmas? They're after the day. They're the twelve days from Christmas to Epiphany on January sixth, when the Wisemen arrived. Koolio, yeah?

Anyway, this post is kind of a gushing, happy, thankful post.

Christmas Eve was lovely. A couple of friends came over and we talked for ages, eating roasted chestnuts and drinking hot chocolate.

Christmas.....

My sisters know me very well....

SONIC SCREWDRIVERRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

I love my sonic screwdriver!! (see what I did there?)

It's so sonic, I could DIE!!

And then Kat made me a TARDIS companion kit, in the event that the dear Doctor will ask me to accompany him. Er. Mer. Gersh.

Look at all the stuff in it!

It's complete with business cards!
(in case I need to let people know how to contact me)

Lots of business cards

Kat also made me a TARDIS that opensssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And my mommy knitted a shawl. I love my shawl. It's awesome.

We played Pente, which is like Connect Four, only you can block and must connect five.

We had our traditional Italian dinner of gnocchi and ham. We make the gnocchi ourselves. We also make the sauce. We're very Italian-esque.

And we talked. We talk a lot. *grin*

All in all it was a perfect Christmas and I am so thankful for everything.

So tell me.... How was your Christmas?

God bless!

We had an awesome fun Christmas. Our house was overflowing with people and gifts. We ate more food in one meal than most people eat in a week. We laughed our faces off at pictures on Pinterest.

    <3 <3

Has anyone ever told you that you have amazing hair?!? Cause you do! <3

    1. Hahaha, What Child is This has always been a favorite Christmas song, and the way Josh slows it down near the end, "What child... is this... who lays... to rest... etc" was SO PRETTY!!

I KNOW!!! I LOVE THAT EMERGENCY KIT!!! lol... My sisters are really good at getting nerdy stuff they know I'll love.

Awwww, thanks. I'm growing it out again, because I've been keeping it kind of shorter than the rest of my family, but now I'm in the mood for long hair again. :)

  3. Gnocchi for Christmas dinner? Oh, you lucky being! I love gnocchi. I've never actually had shop-boughten gnocchi (we have a bit of Italian in us, too.) :)

I'm just overwhelmed by the general longness of your sisters' hair. My hair is long, but no where near that long, and I barely ever have it out for knots! So, wow to the hair. :)

    1. We never do turkey for Christmas, it's always been gnocchi. It's been the family tradition for as long as I can remember.

Hahaha, she's actually been keeping it shorter than she used to. She'll be flattered though, I'll let her know. :D

  4. AAH! :D I'm so jealous! lol. I want a Sonic Screwdriver *so* bad. There's even a store in our mall that sells Ten's screwdriver...*agh* I've been begging people to get it for me...
That food looks soooo goood. *nomnom* Now I'm hungry....
That song is beautiful. one of my favorites for sure. <3 <3

    1. I don't think ANYWHERE in California/Nevada which sells sonic screwdrivers. Mahri got mine off amazon.

That food is good. You need to be careful when you eat it though, because gnocchi is kind of heavy, so it drops on you and suddenly you go from wanting another helping to very, very full.

Thank you so much! That little comment made my day. :)

I'm glad your Christmas was nice too!!!!

      Cheers!

    Merry late Christmas (again)!

(P.S. That shawl is beautiful! You don't mind if I steal it along with you other Doctor Who gifts, do you? LOL!)

    1. Merry CHristmas to you too!!!! :D But yeah, I might be kind of upset if you stole my shawl. I've been asking for it for ages. :D

No, I didn't see the DW air... we just watch DW on Netflix because we don't actually have cable. :D

  6. The hair of the girls in your family. Like, seriously. Sometimes I think I should unfollow you and your sisters' blogs, they make me seethe with jealously.
    ~sad sigh~
    Anyway.
Beautiful shawl! And I'm sorry to say that I'm not a Whovian but from your ecstasy I can tell that for those who are, that is a pretty darn amazing present.

    1. D'awww, don't get jealous. Long hair is just something we've always had. I don't remember having hair any higher than my shoulders. I had a phase where I wanted it a bit shorter, and I did, and I loved it. And now I'm growing it out again. (if you're wondering, trimming it frequently makes hair grow faster and healthier.) And besides, you're awfully cute yourself. :D

Doctor Who isn't for everyone. It's corny. And when the episodes are weak, they are EXTREMELY weak, but I like them anyway. And yes, Sonic Screwdriver is a pretty darn amazing pressie. :D

  8. Your sisters are so cool and geeky!! What fun!!! I am glad you had such a nice Christmas!!

Aye, Jeremy Renner looks British. His hair is nicer combed I think...and he dresses nicer. I never figured out if it was one T or two...I shall have to ask some of those actors who will be in my movie. *Smirk*

If I had to pick between Scotty and Kirk I would pick Scotty. I think my order is something like Spock and McCoy, then Chekov, Scotty...no, those two tie, and then Kirk. Which order are they all in for you? I liked O'Riely but they took him off too soon, which wasn't at all nice. 8-P

    1. yes, we're all kind of geeky. *giggle*

Well, when you hire your British actors, when you're finished send them to me, I have several of them cast as well. Jeremy does seem less American... He's awfully down-to-earth as well, isn't he?

Well, I love Kirk and Scotty the same (in the TV show) Then McCoy and Chekov, and Sulu. :) O'Riely is HILARIOUS! Did you see the episode when they all get that weird sickness which takes away their inhibitions and proceeds to bring out their innermost desires? O'Riely goes around singing, "I'll take you home AGAAAIN, KathLEEEEEEEN!" and it's awesome.

    1. Shaaaaaawwwwll.... yep I agree, awesome word. It has a massive amount of beads knitted into it, something like 2 or 3 hundred.

That TARDIS is prolly one of my favorite pressies. It's so perfect!!!

  10. Ah, you really celebrate the twelve days of Christmas? That's awesome. My Christmas celebrations have been spread all over the place, and I'll be celebrating Christmas (again) on the 3rd.

    Merry Christmas/Happy New Year!

    1. Yeah, we celebrate the twelve days of Christmas. It bothers me when people do it twelve days before. :D Ooooh, we're celebrating "little Christmas" on the 6th, on the Epiphany. We all save one package on Christmas morning and the Wisemen bring one on Epiphany, so we celebrate an extra li'l Christmas. It's awesome, makes the season just a little longer. :)
