Weeeeeeeeeelllllll..... I remember quotes...Haha :)

Weeeeeeeeeelllllll..... I remember quotes and stuff, it just sticks with me, so my brain is full of useless information. (Tara grew on me, but at first I was basically, "WOW you are SO NOT Sophie Devereaux." I know, I don't know why they bring that to his character, because seriously, that's not really him. I think he's the worst in s2, and he just has occasional weird things later on.

Parker is crazy lol. We don't find out her name, she's just Parker. XD Yeah, her hair changes subtly almost every season. ;) lol.

HARDISON IS SUCH A GEEK I LOVE HIS STUPID REFERENCES .Treskiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00490639560086435577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-56950067559804457972016-03-10T12:47:44.394-08:002016-03-10T12:47:44.394-08:00OKAY!

Yeah, I think I've heard her referred to as 'The mother of all dragons' or something like that...

LOL! HOW DO YOU REMEMBER ALL THIS??? Let's see, we left off at Episode 12 of season 2 last night. We just watched the one with the Irish Loan Shark in the pub. I'm unsure about Tara...and Eliot has been such a womanizer lately. Sheesh. Still love him, but just, sheesh! Parker is both Robert's and my favorite, she just cracks us up! And Hardison! OOOH, btw, do we find out Parker's first name at some point???? And did she change her hair at the beginning of the 2nd season??? Something was different...Mary(Aliceoutofwonderland)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15964062484418874268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-22529887834152795852016-02-28T14:22:55.783-08:002016-02-28T14:22:55.783-08:00Yes yes yes!!! I'm already planning ...Yep XD I KNOW, IT SUCKS! I'm already planning a trip in my head, but as to the when and how stuff, I haven't gotten that far yet! Maybe within the next year or so? IT WOULD BE AWESOME. The Sierra Mountains area looks gorgeous!

I know! Who names their daughter Buffy? NO ONE. (Well, someone probably has...like Kim Kardasian's 'North West' :P If they were trying to be cool, they failed. Epic-ly.)
I especially love medieval, Greek, Irish, and Scottish tv series, BUT OMG so much of it is filthy. And YES, Game of Thrones! I know I'd love the good parts of it, but I don't want to deal with the dirty stuff. Someone also said I reminded them of Daenerys Targaryen, and that made me even more curious! *sobs*
I saw some advertisements on Poldark when it was just coming out, and it looked really good! And I love Kili! I'll have to look up more about it!
AWW I love that. It's so awesome when actors and actresses take a stand and refuse to do something they don't believe in!

LEVERAGE IS GOOD!!!!! We watched episode 7 and 8 of Season 1 the other night and OHMYGOSH, Parker as a flight attendant XD That's me on the inside whenever I've had to deal with difficult customers :P

Yes, post! It's more fun than the one-picture-to-thousands-of-words thing.

YESSSSSSSSSSSS. RIGHT? BLOGGING ...Hee, that amused you, I see. lol. RIGHT? BLOGGING FRIENDS ARE SO HARD, BECAUSE USUALLY THEY'RE LIKE 5 STATES AWAY, AND THAT'S SO FREAKING FAR. *tears* But yeah, it would be so fun to watch stuff together. If you and Robert ever head out this way... (say for like an anniversary or something.) let me know... we should hang out.

The problem with shows like Buffy and Teen Wolf is.... THEY'RE CALLED BUFFY AND TEEN FREAKING WOLF! who names stuff!? (Oh my gosh, I want to watch Reign and the Tudors so baaaaaaaad. But yeah.. so dirty. Also Game of Thrones. COSTUMES ARE AMAZING, but they have like... every single kind of dirty you could possibly have, and I don't need that.)
Gooooshhhh.... I'm trying to decide if I should recommend Poldark to you. Because it's SUCH a good show, (it's got Kili in it, and he's adorable and SO COOL.) But I watched it with my sister who'd seen it first, and she skipped all the dirty scenes. So I can't remember, I think there were three or four, but we could see them all coming. (Except one which showed up out of the blue and I was like, "AAAAAAAH OH.") I don't think they were actually DIRTY so much as sensual.. but again, I wouldn't really know because Amy skipped for us. But... it's so good and the relationship is so sweet... let me see if I can find a trailer and let you decide for yourself.
(Speaking of keeping scenes clean in movies.... or TV shows, that's another reason why I like Stiles from Teen Wolf, because that show is kinda really terrible... But Dylan OBrien, who is Stiles, refuses to do any bad scenes, because he disagrees with it, and I was like, "AW YISS."

lol I can relate to that, "REALLY YOU HAD TO PUT THAT IN THERE." on so many levels. lol. (same.... Lent is one of those times when you're like... better... be more careful."

OH YES OH YES, LEVERAGE IS GOOD.

Disneyland was craaaaaaaaazy. lol. I need to post. Treskiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00490639560086435577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-82238818655637009872016-02-18T06:45:30.925-08:002016-02-18T06:45:30.925-08:00Lol, "the epic Treskie Skim". WHY DO YOU...Lol, "the epic Treskie Skim". WHY DO YOU HAVE TO LIVE SO FAR AWAY??? IT WOULD BE SO FUN WATCHING STUFF WITH YOU. Oh gosh, no judging here. I hesitate to tell people I have watched Buffy and Angel because I'm never sure what their views are on it, and there are SO MANY tv shows I want to watch but haven't because they put so much freakin filth in them :P Outlander, Reign, The Tudors, for example. (I haven't watched any of them, but I look up the adult content on IMDB.com and if the Sex and Nudity section is longer than a small paragraph, I usually don't bother watching it.) I love historic tv shows, but they always seem to have stuff in them :P I KNOW, RIGHT? I LOVE IT WHEN MY FAVORITE PEOPLE KEEP THINGS CLEAN IN MOVIES.
I love the nerdiness and geekiness of Big Bang Theory BUT that show frustrates me a lot. While watching I'm like "REALLY? YOU JUST HAD TO ADD THAT IN THERE?!". So yeah, not something I would recommend to watch during Lent. I always feel awful if I watch anything with pervy stuff in it during Lent.

Leverage might just be next on the list then! A cross over of Ocean's Eleven and Robin Hood sounds freaking awesome! I LOVE anything Robin Hood, and Ocean's movies are awesome.

He DOES, doesn't he? YES, YES, DO! I think you'll like it :) Haha, no prob :D

I WILL!!!

Hope you had or are having fun in Disneyland!!!!! Take lots of pictures!
Mary(Aliceoutofwonderland)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15964062484418874268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-1066694307763393822016-02-16T16:28:44.106-08:002016-02-16T16:28:44.106-08:00I'M SO EXCITED BY HOW YOU'RE FLESHING OUT ...I'M SO EXCITED BY HOW YOU'RE FLESHING OUT THE TRISTAN STORY! Oh I see. I KNOW THAT FEELING BECAUSE S...Hahahahah! Oh I see. I KNOW THAT FEELING BECAUSE SOMETIMES YOU WANT TO SHOW PEOPLE JUST THE BEST PARTS OF TV SHOWS, AND YOU'RE LIKE, 'No, I must watch it with you so I can mute and skip stuff" I dunno, I might do the epic "Treskie Skim" because I've gotten to the point where I can see dirty scenes coming and just like... skip past that sucker lol. I do that with Teen Wolf a lot. (Don't judge me, I literally watch like 15 minutes of each episode because basically Stiles is a dork and I love his dorkiness.) BUT YAY I LIKE IT WHEN THE CHARACTERS I LIKE AREN'T REALLY IN THE BAD SCENES BECAUSE I RESPECT THEM MORE FOR IT.
Mmmmm I've seen bits and pieces of the Big Bang Theory, and it's so frustrating, because I think I would love it-- but I know the dialogue gets inappropriate a lot and it's hard to skip past conversations, you know? I DON"T KNOW! I'll play it by ear and see how I feel. Lent's coming and I don't generally watch stuff During lent so it would have to be later. ;)

Actually Leverage is one of the cleanest shows I've seen. I think there's maybe one dirty scene per season? MAYBE? (oh the first episode has a random changing scene, where a girl changes in an elevator. But that's it. So Yeah, I really really like it, and it's funny and clever. It's literally like Ocean's Eleven and Robin Hood crossed over. They're all thieves but they end up thieving to help people who are in trouble and it's SO AWESOME. Ehem. Okay.

I like his version of Fast Car a lot. He has a really pleasant voice lol. Well I'm going to look up Into the West because now I want to see it lol. (Thanks for agreeing with me on carrie underwood. lol.)

Let me know if you do decide to watch Doctor Who because I LOVE THAT SHOW. XD XD

I KNOW!!!!!1 MOST OF US HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE EITHER AND IT'S GOING TO BE SO CRAZY. Treskiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00490639560086435577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-56599795914913145942016-02-06T11:41:25.846-08:002016-02-06T11:41:25.846-08:00OH THIS IS HARD. I DON'T KNOW IF I WANT TO REC...OH THIS IS HARD. I DON'T KNOW IF I WANT TO RECOMMEND THEM OR NOT. UGGGH. There were times when I wanted to stop watching because of the perviness. If all of the perverted stuff was taken out, they would both be SO awesome. But then I get all nostalgic and think about re-starting them, but I'm not sure if I want to go through all that again :P OH IDK! It's a love/hate relationship. I can tell you that Christian's character Lindsey is not perverted and I don't recall any sexual scenes involving him, so that's good! It's been a while since I watched Buffy though, so I can't remember everything I disliked about it. Robert thinks that both series are at the same level of perviness, and I agree so I can't say that one is better than the other. I don't think you could watch Angel BEFORE Buffy either, since you would be really confused...I don't know what to tell you!!! Maybe watch a few episodes and see if you like it? I can't compare its perviness to anything you have already watched because I haven't seen everything you've seen...unless you've watched Big Bang Theory? Because Robert and I think that is WAY MORE perverted than Buffy and Angel...

AHHHHH NOW I WANNA WATCH LEVERAGE!!!! I get what you mean about rock-country, I am rarely ever in the mood for that type of music. It also depends on the song and lyrics :P Most are about drinking, sex, or getting back at your ex :P *Watches videos* He has such a nice voice! He also did a version of 'Fast Car' that I really liked. HERE, ENJOY:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLbKZpbvsUQ
It's been a long time since I've seen Into the West, but I remember really liking it. I want to watch that with Robert soon cuz he's never seen it. I don't remember Christian's character though and it's bugging me :P
Yeah, I like a select few of Carrie Underwood's songs but mostly I'm just like, meh.

OKAY, I'll see if Robert wants to watch Doctor Who starting with season 5 or from the beginning. Not sure when we'll get to it though, there are so many TV shows we wanna watch!

No beanies for Robert then!

Yes really! WHAT?! THAT'S AWESOME!!! *hops up and down excitedly* YOU ARE GONNA HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!!! I haven't been there, but who doesn't have fun at DISNEYLAND????

Mary(Aliceoutofwonderland)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15964062484418874268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-21362326522411803022016-02-05T19:54:18.682-08:002016-02-05T19:54:18.682-08:00Yes yes! You're liked. XD
*FLIPS OUT MORE* AA...Yes yes! You're liked. XD

*FLIPS OUT MORE* AAAAAAHHHH. I've been tempted- SO TEMPTED- to start watching Buffy and Angel.... but I heard on of the characters is kind of a pervert, and I have this real hang up about that specific kind of perviness so. lol. Is it worth the watch?? (I'm really good at skipping past suggestive scenes. lol.)
Anyway... YES HE SINGS IN LEVERAGE and I totally freaked out. (He does have a CD but I have to be in the mood because most of it's rock-country and I'm not always ready to hear whiny electric guitar.) BUT BUT HANG ON, I'LL FIND YOU the ones I really liked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrpwBUjj-Ts AND AND https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEwSVe1GnJU. There have fun. (I loved him so much as Young Uncle Hub in SecondHand Lions! Is Into the West good? *starts singing LOTR song** I'mma go watched that video right now though. (I'm not hugely fond of Carrie Underwood in general though.)

The little girl in the big old high heels is perfection and it makes me super happeh.

WELL. WELL. Weellll. *ehem* I'm going to be speared by fellow Whovians, but I actually recommend starting on season 5, which is when Matt Smith is the Doctor. His effects and his plots are better and it's not super hard to figure out how everything works. (I would recommend eventually watching all of them, because basically Nine is one of the best doctors... I mean, I LIKE Ten (He's every-freaking-one's favorite for some reason. I like Eleven.)But Elelven's my doctor. SO YEAH BASICALLY. We started Kat on season 5 and she's a giant whovian now lol.

... Mmmm. Beanies are considered slouchy as far as I'm aware.

Aw yay. :) :)

Wow, really?? Okay! I'll do another one soon. (WE"RE ALL GOING TO DISNEYLAND ON THE 16TH. LIKE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.)Treskiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00490639560086435577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-34548051812290207492016-02-05T09:49:58.612-08:002016-02-05T09:49:58.612-08:00TRESKIIIIIEEE!!! Aww, you're happy dancing and...TRESKIIIIIEEE!!! Aww, you're happy dancing and all caps made my day! It's nice to know one is liked :)

It's just beautiful-ness! YES I KNOW WHO CHRISTIAN KANE IS!!!!!!!! I KNEW YOU'D FLIP OUT XD I must disappoint though, because I have not watched Leverage...YET! I know of him because Robert and I were watching Angel last year and he played Lindsey McDonald and we liked him a lot even though he was kind of a bad guy. I have mixed feelings about Buffy The Vampire Slayer and the Angel series...they both can get very suggestive and have uncomfortable scenes (Just a warning in case you haven't watched them) but they are both also hilarious and you fall in love with the characters despite all their problems and stupid stuff they get themselves into. Question: Does Christian sing in Leverage? Because he did in Angel and he was pretty darn good! I also discovered he had/has his own band called Kane. Two other things I have seen him in are Secondhand Lions and Into the West, both of which are really good. He also featured in Carrie Underwood's So Small music video! (Her fashion style is really weird)

Btw, I meant the little girl in high heels in case their was any confusion. I realized there were two little girls in big shoes! Not that I didn't like the other one too!

I do like Sci-fi. Do I have to watch all of the seasons though? Cuz some look cheesy. The new ones look pretty awesome!

I doubt he ever would on his own :D He hates the slouchy hat look. I'm not too fond of it either. Are beanies considered slouchy?

Yep, and I will reply to your comment on it :) I have a new one in my drafts at the moment that I will try to finish today. Need to finish some photography for that one.

P.S. I also really enjoy your posts about your life and your family as well as the artsy ones :) SO KEEP 'EM COMING!Mary(Aliceoutofwonderland)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15964062484418874268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-77100185375244170282016-02-01T21:03:35.623-08:002016-02-01T21:03:35.623-08:00Oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Thorin was kind of a twit ...Oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Thorin was kind of a twit in that part, to be honest lol. But Bilbo is always golden and I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE USED HIM MORE. (Also, quite right, very Tolkien-y)

*snort* Let the judging commence! I don't write enough to use the BOFA to help me with it. I literally just go, 'NOT IN THE BOOK' and cry a little. XD (Thranduil was a jerk! Thank you!!!) But yeah, I guess by watching that movie, you can go, "What happened in Battle of Five Armies? Okay, I won't do that." lol!Treskiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00490639560086435577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-62208981293647464802016-02-01T09:13:58.971-08:002016-02-01T09:13:58.971-08:00The scene with the acorn is in The Battle of Five ...The scene with the acorn is in The Battle of Five Armies, fairly near the beginning: Thorin sees Bilbo holding something, and assuming it's the Arkenstone, demands that Bilbo show what's in his hand. Which is an acorn; Bilbo says he intended to plant it to remember his adventures once he gets back to the comfort of his home. It was very hobbit-like and hinted at Bilbo's new maturity despite his longing for home, a very Tolkien-like touch.

Yes, let us judge together. :-) I am thankful, though, for The Battle of Five Armies because it taught me a good way to analyze stories: ask "What are the characters doing, and why?" The question showed me that some characters had unclear motivations (I found myself constantly thinking, "Wait, why is Bard doing that?" or had motivations that made the character, quite frankly, a jerk. *glares at Thranduil* So though the film's story was full of plot holes, it did teach me what to watch out for in my own stories.Christine Eyrenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-56765441059870992742016-01-31T11:14:11.200-08:002016-01-31T11:14:11.200-08:00HAHAHA ME TOO. Awww, that...MARYYYYYYYY! *Happy dancing commences*

Awww, that one turned out so well, even the baby looks good and not like a little creepy alien. BUT YOU KNOW WHO CHRISTIAN KANE IS????? *FLIPS OUT* Does that mean you watch Leverage??!???? AAAAAAH!!

Her big shoes need some work, but her overall look made me happy. XD

I know what you mean. Sometimes quotes only work for you if you're in the right mood for them. (But if you like sci-fi, you should watch Doctor Who. Cause ELEVEN.)

haha, Robert has the right hairstyle for wearing a beanie though. He should try. XD

People seem to have voted the photodumps in, so it's staying as it is. lol. Eehehe.... no. They didn't. (Ha,yay, I'm glad I flipped out over legitimate stuff.) But you're correct, when they got something *right* it was PERFECT. Like when Bilbo was helping the dwarves to get escape the elves. Perfection. But yeah... So not in good standing with Tolkien's original story.
Hahaha, well in that case, we can judge together!! lol! RIGHT? WHAT WAS *THAT* ALL ABOUT! 'Oh, dump some liquid gold on the hot dragon, everything will turn out grand' *distant crying from the Tolkien Fandom*
And yeah, what's the Deal with Thranduil's creepy face? That was not in the book. (And I appreciate Viggo Mortenson, because Peter Jackson asked him to make a cameo in the hobbit movies and he said no because Aragorn wasn't in the book. AWWWW GOOD GUY.)

Martin Freeman WAS perfect! Why did they make him an extra in his own movie?? He was SO UNDER UTILIZED. Wait, which seen with the acorn?? And I would rat...Thanks for sharing your thoughts! And I would rather read your comment flipping out over legitimate flaws than read one more review that believes "the films stuck overall to the book." Um, are we talking about the same book, guys? *Parts* of the franchise were good--the ending of BoFA was perfect--but overall, it just wasn't Tolkien's story. And you're right; so much stuff was added that the filmmakers couldn't even tell the story they were trying to adapt. *growls* I appreciate your resolve to not judge, but I don't like the Hobbit movies either, for the reasons you mentioned--and for the ridiculousness in the plot. I mean, does it really make sense for Thorin, a former goldsmith, to assume that liquid gold will act like Superglue and harden and immobilize Smaug in 30 seconds? Why did Smaug not find those gold boulders years ago and haul them off to his treasure horde? Why, if Thranduil believes the outside world "none of his concern", does he send his son to find a human Ranger?

Okay, rant over. :-) Martin Freeman was perfect as Bilbo, however, and he absolutely shone in the few scenes he had! I definitely liked his scenes in the movies. Also, the scene with the acorn wasn't in the book, but I think it stuck to the *spirit* of Tolkien's story and was a good addition.Christine Eyrenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-79200424872171099872016-01-27T10:53:35.427-08:002016-01-27T10:53:35.427-08:00Awwwwwwww thank you so much!!! (Oh you do?? THAT"S AWESOME. Let me know if you notice that I'm doing stuff wrong with Tyler, since he's supposed to be a medic and I don't know the first thing about it. Research only goes so far, you know?)
Hehehe.... Yeah, poor guy. He's just really torn and all messed up. I do love drawing them, so I don't see me stopping any time soon. LOL! Also... yeah, people have asked for their story a few times... and I haven't written it. The plot sort of comes out from the drawings, so the more I draw, the more of an idea i have for the actual story part, but I'm not much of a writer, so I don't know if I'll actually *write* it, just such Graphic Novel that sucker until I know what I'm doing. (But it makes me really thrilled that people care enough about characters I've created to actually be interested in their stories. *gasp*)

Well as long as I got the prayer warrior thing across, I'm totally happy. :)Treskiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00490639560086435577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6159967458087114933.post-88232026482940908952016-01-27T10:42:40.093-08:002016-01-27T10:42:40.093-08:00Nah, I don't mind at all. Mostly I was just ir...Nah, I don't mind at all. Mostly I was just irritated with the fact that the hobbit movies ended up being primarily made up of Peter Jackson's fanfiction. (And I personally despise fan fiction.) Tauriel wasn't in the books, she wasn't even a Tolkien character *at all*. Peter Jackson literally put her in the movies because he wanted a love triangle. She didn't help the plot, she didn't have a point, all she did was slow everything down with pointless so-called Elf Politics and I just didn't like her. (But your point about her character being all mashed up of other people from LOTR is something I didn't notice and now I like her less. lol.) It's not so much that I dislike *Tauriel* as I was just really disappointed in the whole Hobbit franchise. There was absolutely no reason for the Hobbit, which is what... 300 pages long, tops?... to be broken up into three movies. And even after they made three movies, THEY STILL LEFT SOME REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF FROM THE BOOK *OUT* to make room for Tauriel/Legolas/Kili love triangles... weird plot holes with Legolas's dad, and.... and totally unnecessary additions that weren't even sort of part of Tolkien's world. Like... What was the deal with Beorn? Why did they put so much elves in when they literally had like maybe two chapters in the book? Why so much Gold Sickness that everyone goes crazy?? IT'S CALLED THE HOBBIT, WHY DID BILBO ONLY GET LIKE HALF AN HOUR SCREEN TIME??????/? *angry Treskie noises*

Hahaha, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to flip out on you, but I expected a lot better from Peter Jackson since the LOTR movies, and he made me super mad with his take on the Hobbit. (Also, if you like the movies, I WON'T JUDGE YOU. That's totally fine! I just personally think he should have made the hobbit into two movies TOPS and stuck to the original plot instead of adding so much stuff that was not in the book at all. :)

I was kidding about your being insensitive. lol. (But I'm so glad you like the look of them, even if she is in pain.)

ME TOO! hahah Thanks. You're welcome!Treskiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00490639560086435577noreply@blogger.com
