Finish, sum up, conclude.

Wow, so like....

It's 2015.

It just hit me.... last night.... around 12pm.... that it's 2015. What? Why? What the freak happened to that fabulous thing called Time?

Anyway, so, I kind of have a tradition where I do this tag at the end of every year. I just think it's a good way to sum up the last twelve months, and it's nice to have something that I do every year, you know?

So here we go!

1.) What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before?
     Got employed. BORING RIGHT?

2.) Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make one this year?
     Phffft. Resolutions.

I'm afraid of commitment.

3.) Did anyone close to you give birth?
My sisters did. I'm am an aunt x13. (I don't remember their birthdays. I'm a terrible aunt.)

4.) Did anyone close to you die?
Not that I know of. I mean... unless I'm like horrifically out of the loop. (And then, in that case, ignorance is bliss, right?)

5.) What countries/states did you visit?
     #Broke #coward #Idontleavehome

6.) What would you like to have in 2015 that you lacked in 2014?
A boyfriend. HAAAAAAA! Let's be realistic here. I want a unicorn.

7.) What date from 2015 will remain etched upon your memory?
March Freaking fourteenth, Jack changed from Blog Friend to Best Friend.

8.) Did you move anywhere?
     Not out of the state.

9.) What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I did done got a job.

10.) What was your biggest failure?
       Me. I suck.

11.) Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got an extremely painful sore throat. It was bad. (I think that's as bad as I got. I'm an extremely healthy person. *knock on wood*)

12.) What was the best thing you bought?
I bought a new laptop after my old one exploded in a blaze of fire and smoke.

       Also, this shirt.

13.) Whose behavior merited celebration?
       *squints at acquaintances*

14.) Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Oh, a person. Let's say said person is someone I love a lot, but I like the idea of punching Said Person's face.

15.) Where did most of your money go?
        Rent and Christmas.
WHAT CAN I SAY, I BUY FABULOUS PRESENTS.

16.) What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Amy opening her fabulous present. (My priorities, right?), Jack's visit. Other stuff.

17.) What was the best concert you’ve been to this year?
I don't think I went to any this year.

18.) What song/album will always remind you of 2014?
I got both of Christina Perri's albums for my birthday, so those are always going to remind of this year.

But I think the song that's going to make me always think 2014!!!! is probably Hey, Brother.

19.) Compared to this time last year, are you:
Older, duh! I don't know. I feel sadder.

20.) What do you wish you’d done more of?
Drawing. I think this year I might actually have a resolution!! Shocker!

Shhhhh, we're not talking about it yet, it's still an idea that's festering.

Being angry. I was angry a lot last year.

22.) What was your greatest musical discovery?
Christina Perri! Oh my gosh, that girl can write pretty music!

23.) How did you spend Christmas?
Loudly, with lots of laughter and food. We're like the Whos down in Whoville.

24.) How are you spending New Year’s?
With lots of laughter and food. (We stayed up until midnight watching Flashpoint, because that's the way WE party.)

        *waves at Gina*

THE RAVEN BOYS AND SCORPIO RACES AND 100 CUPBOARDS. (which you'd know if you've been following me blog for any length of time.

26.) Did you fall in love in 2013?
Matt the Staples Guy had me in flutters for a while, but other than that, nah. I'm still a single little potato.

IT'S A SOURCE OF GREAT SADNESS TO ME.

27.) What was your favorite TV show?
Favorite? SINGULAR? YOU NUTS OR SOMETHING? I don't choose. I am not a chooser.

So list:
Not in order

Prison Break

Flashpoint

Grimm

Supernatural

Doctor Who

28.) Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Hate's a strong word. I vacillate between loving The Aforementioned Person and viciously wanting to kick The Aforementioned Person.

29.) What did you want and get?
A cellphone, some Supernatural, books, clothes, a job....

30.) What did you want and not get?
There is a lack of a male potato. I feel like I'm ready to make small fries now. *wink*

31.) What were your favorite films of this year?
        Lists are my favorite.

Maze Runner

The Winter Soldier

THAT'S TWO. WHAT THE FREAK. I KNOW I WATCHED MORE.

32.) What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

41.) Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
"You're gonna catch a cold, from the ice inside your soul.

42.) Five personally significant events of 2014:
       1.) FREAKING LICENSE
       2.) FREAKING JOB
3.) Moved out. (it sucks, don't do it.)
4.) Started using color in my drawings. (I know, such an achievement.)
5.) Got Cait to fangirl and cackled maliciously as she spiraled down to insanity.

43.) Five things I want to do in 2015:
        1.) Get my life together.
2.) Get serious about selling my drawings.
        3.) Visit my sisters.
        4.) Record music.
        5.) Go to Frontsight.

44.) Five people I’d like to know better in 2014:
       People. HA.
       All of you guys.

Aaaaand that's it!
I DARE YOU TO ANSWER THREE QUESTIONS.
It's a dare.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it.....

Cheers and God bless, and HAPPY NEW YEAR. *shoves 2014 into the garbage*

  1. I SHALL TAKE YOUR DARE.

Not a very hard one. XD

    THE BEST BOOKS I READ:

The Green Ember by S.D. Smith. That book was so. so. so. good. And so what I needed right then and there. The Warden and the Wolf King by Andrew Peterson. THAT BOOK. THAT SERIES. WHAT EVEN. The Bird in the Tree series by Elizabeth Goudge. Wow. *drinks up her prose*

    THE BEST MOVIES:

Big Hero 6, The Lego Movie, and How to Train Your Dragon 2. What can I say, I love kids movies the best. And those were all... like wow. So much love.

SONG LYRICS THAT SUM UP THE YEAR:

"As this dusty road now settles
And I see what lay before
Every tear that held a broken dream
Is now shattered on the floor
And now bursting forth in splendor
Are the blossoms of second tries
Because dreams that bear the mark of love
    Are dreams that never die"
    -"Moving Forward" by Colony House

AND BECAUSE I'M SO DARING I SHALL ANSWER ONE MORE:

BEST PERSON I MET THIS YEAR:

TRESKIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! <3 Seriously, though, our friendship has meant a lot and I need to get over there and meet you somehow. God blesses me crazily with friends met in unlikely places.

  2. *waves from down here in Insanity* Yes, yes, it's very nice. I'm getting used to be emotionally ruined by tv shows. ThanksalotfornothingTreskie.

YOU SOUND SAD. :( Sad isn't good. 2014 wasn't my best year ever, either, and I didn't even do anything. Well, not much exciting. I travelled a bit. I ate lasagna and I will take the advice to heart and not BE a lasagna. It's wise. Very. I got a dog that is like a minature hellhound. BUT I HAS GOOD FRIENDS SO THAT'S OKAY.

    Never over Dean.

And hey, good job getting a job. :D Teach me your ways. I need a job. BADLY.
I hope your 2015 is faNTASTIC. No really. :)

  8. TRESKIEFACE! Hi! I'm still giggling over your lasagna comment on my bloggy. 'Twas hilarious.

Ooh. Flashpoint. Flashpoint looks good! I just started watching Bones, which is, so far, really... weird. The plot is good, but the two leading characters (who supposedly are in love) have zero chemistry and fight constantly. They're more like brother and sister than a couple. *Shrugs*

I hope you find your male potato. You seem like you'd make a really epic mum. And... Matt the Staples guy? Like Taylor the Latte boy? Please tell me you've seen this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXS0nEOx_20

Treskie, you do NOT suck, you are amazing and inspiring and talented, and if anyone ever says that you suck, they're lying. Just so you know.

You got a job! That is awesome. You must teach me your secrets.

    Cheers, Frenchiest Fry!

FLASHPOINT IS AMAZING AND FABULOUS AND OH MY GOSH IT'S INTENSE AND AMAZING BUT NOT AS INTENSE AS PRISON BREAK AND IT'S LIKE *COMPLETELY* CLEAN YOU MUST WATCH IT. LIKE, NOW.

I don't like it when the couples on shows don't have chemistry. I can't ship them if they don't have chemistry.

I hope I find a male potato too. lol. I THINK IT WOULD TOO, SO WHAT'S THE DEAL, I'M ELIGIBLE! No, he's just Matt who works at staples and he's beautiful lol. BUT I HAVEN"T SEEN THAT! I watch in a mo...

Aw thanks. I didn't say that to fish for compliments, you know. But thank you. I shall try to view myself better. XD

I KNOW RIGHT!??? (the secret lies in having your sisters already work there and put i a good work for you)

  10. I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE!!!

Best book of 2014? Ummmm...BLUE LILY, LILY BLUE, um, um THERE WERE MANY MORE. BUT GANSEY!!!!!!!
Did I fall in love? Also ummmmmm. I didn't really fall in love but I had a LOT of crushes. The fun of being a teenaged girl!
Best TV show? DOCTOR WHO! Even though I have missed most of the newest season. Darn. And Selfie. Pretty good but kind of fluffy most of the time. But oh! Do webseries' count? Because then Nothing Much To Do and Emma Approved and The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (except I started that in 2013), ClassicAlice, and BLIMEY COW because Jordan Taylor is fantastic.
HAHA! Adding a fourth one. :) Favorite movie. THE HOBBIT: BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES. OF COURSE. And The Winter Soldier was kind of amazing. BUT THE HOBBIT MADE ME CRY! Like a baby. IT ABSOLUTELY RUINED ME. And DIVERGENT! And Maleficent was pretty cool but only because of BRENTON THWAITES! I have a slight obsession. *smiles sheepishly* AND I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO SEE THE MAZE RUNNER! BUT DYLAN O'BRIEN!! And I haven't been able to see The Giver either but I want to because of BRENTON THWAITES AGAIN! hehe :)
And, what the heck, one more. Song lyrics that sum up the year.

    Many places I have been
    Many sorrows I have seen
    But I don't regret
    Nor will I forget
All who took that road with me

    Night is now falling
    So ends this day
    The road is now calling
    And I must away

To these memories I will hold
With your blessing I will go
To turn at last to paths that lead home

And though where the road then takes me,
    I cannot tell
    We came all this way
    But now comes the day
    To bid you farewell

I bid you all a very fond farewell

They don't really sum up my year but I love them and a couple of my friends moved away this year (2014) and my brother is graduating this year (2015) so it kind of does make sense. PLUS, IT'S FROM THE HOBBIT!! I love this song so much, I put it on my ipod and listen to it on repeat until I fall asleep. It has basically taken over my life.

That was fun. and by the way, YOU DO NOT SUCK! YOU ARE AN AMAZING, FANTASTIC, AWESOME PERSON. Even though I have never met you in real life, I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!!!

Oh, we're just NOW watching s8 of DW. I LOVE TWELVE!!!!! (I miss Matt, but Twelve is like Niiiiiiiiine.)
I've only watched the LIzzie Bennet Diaries. I wasn't wild about Emma so I gave up. What's Classic Alice?

WINTER SOLDIER!!!!!!! (Haven't seen The Last Hobbit yet.... I'm dubious because I like the book. lol.) I HAVEN'T SEEN MALEFICENT EITHER. OR THE GIVER, SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHO BRENDEN THWAITE IS BUT YAAAAAAAAAAAY HIM! LOL. My uncle really liked the Giver, so I' want to give it a try. DYLAN OBRIEN ROCKED IT IN MAZE RUNNER. JUST *DROOLS*

I love that song. *fist bump*

I'm glad you had fun lol. I DISAGREE BUT THANK YOU THANK YOU!! LOL my esteem has been boosted. Thanks. :D

    2. ClassicAlice is about a girl in college who decides to live life according to books. It sounds kind of weird and it is kind of weird, the Crime and Punishment and Macbeth ones got...interesting, but yeah, they're cool.

YOU DON'T KNOW WHO BRENTON THWAITES IS??? Just google him. RIGHT NOW! He's cute...:)

AND GO SEE THE HOBBIT! IT IS FANTASTIC! AND SO SAD! OH THE FEELS! I also want to see Into the Woods because its a musical, and fairy tales and Chris Pine. :D
