Picture Saturday

I'm honestly afraid to post.

Because since December, every time I've posted, I've lost a few followers. Like... What, am I doing something different? Is my content getting lame? What am I doing to drive y'all away!? Come baaaaaaaaaaaack!

But I'm going to be brave, and post anyway.

Please stay.

I'm also very sorry, but there aren't a lot of drawings this week. Most of my days off were spent trying really hard to get insurance.*

*I'm going to punch everyone in the heath department for making it so hard, and for making me consider going to the Dark Side. I want to air-squeeze someone's throat.

Not a lot to to share. And not a lot of quality. I'm mad, because I was going to draw Luca for Cait, and I was going to do some 24 fanart*, even though season 7 makes me want to scream and throw stuff....and I couldn't because I was too busy.

*Because Jack and Tony are bros.

1.) Sometimes I actually color in stuff I say I'm going to color in. (I'm so awesome that way....)

Aw, Tristan, you're in so much troooouble

2.) Here's more Phantom art because I promised someone I would.

3.) Ultra stiff Raoul, but Christine's body language and facial expression is on point.....

4.) Well helloooo, Tristan. Looks like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Go sabotage something.

5.) So remember last time, when I said Tristan goes all Die Hard and goes after the bad guy all by himself... and then gets captured? Well Kate's mad when he gets back.

OTP

6.) Also, by the way, Max is going to have to save Tyler because BROS. (Despite, you know, The Thing.)

7.) On occasion, I do draw stuff besides Tristan and Gang. This happened when I was listening to Il Volo, and I just had release the emotions.

Listen to "We Are Love." Do it now.

I went and watched Star Wars today.

It was so good!! But you know... there was that One Thing..... and now a certain character will remain unforgiven by me, because REASONS.

Le Questions:

Favorite black and white?
Favorite colored?
Have you seen the new Star Wars?
Should I join the Dark Side? (I hear it has cookies)

Love you all!

  1. I'll stay. :) haha. By the way, you know how we were talking about the Thing one not the last blog but the one before? I wrote another comment but the internet was weird, so did you get it? :)
Stay treskie-ish. That's what you do best. :)

    1. Aww thanks.

Yeah, I remember, you were kind of spot on with your theory lol. o_O. But I went and looked in case I just missed it, and I don't think your second comment went through. *tears* Can you.... comment again??

Haha, I don't think I'm much for changing, so that shouldn't be a problem. ;)

    2. i don't know exactly what i said. i think i said that yep, i like psych. :) and do you listen to andrew peterson's music, because it's so good? :) i think my comment was longer but this is what i remember of it. :)

    3. Psych is the best. XD (Or one of the best.)

Well I've listened to the music he wrote for the Wingfeather Saga, but other than that, no not really. He's really acoustic, it's really NICE. XD)

      thanks for commenting it again!

  2. Yay! You did Phantom!!!

Black and white? Definitely 5... No doubts about that.

    Colored? 2 and 7. 2 because Phantom, 7 because well, 7...

Yes! I saw Star Wars earlier this month... UGH REASONS! grr...

Remain on the Light side, you will. Send cookies, I will.

  3. First of all, I love your writing. Who cares about losing a few followers? Yeah, I would to. The world can be a tough place these days. For insurance, if you're poor enough like my family is you can claim an exemption on your tax forms rather than paying the penalty. I think if insurance premiums would be 8% of your income you can claim an exemption. You could also look into health share companies which is what I would like to do. They should be less in cost than traditional health insurance. Maybe look into https://www.libertyhealthshare.org/. You are a very talented artist, and you remind me of my geeky family. That is said in a good way. Have a good day!

    1. Aww thank you so much!! (As for followers, normally I don't mind that much, But I had almost 120, and now I'm down to 108 and that's kinda sad. lol.)

That's actually what I'm planning on doing, because I didn't make enough to really be fined that much so.... I dunno. We'll see how it goes. But wow, thanks for the advice!

I appreciate it when people take the time to tell me they like my art. It makes my whole day. ;) (Also that's totally awesome that I remind you of your geeky family. My whole family is geeky and it's so much fun. XD) You too!

  4. Your drawings are so good! I like the overall aesthetic, especially the one with the musical notes and butterflies that happened when you listened to Il Volo. That one is so beautiful, it's what it feels like to hear good music, haha!
Sorry about your followers, that's so rude of them. I had a regular commenter once who randomly unfollowed right after I posted a comic in French, so maybe she didn't like nasal vowels, we'll never know.
Should you join the dark side? They have cookies? Sounds tempting, but I don't think I like their dental plan ;D

    1. Awwww thank you!! (Aesthetic. *applauds* Good word.) But yeah, that one with the music was more just a doodle that erupted. XD AND YOU SAID THAT'S WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO HEAR GOOD MUSIC AND THAT JUST MADE ME SO HAPPY BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I WAS GOING FOR. *dances*

So very rude of them. lol. Yeah, it's like, "what did I do?? Sheesh!" (That's unfortunate about the French Comic. lol.)

Well I don't have a dental plan anyway, so it can't get much worse than that. XD XD

  5. I'm still following, even though I haven't been commenting much lately. I enjoy seeing your drawings.
My favorite b/w is #5 and second favorite is #6. Favorite colored is #7. It's gorgeous. I also love #2.

YES, I've seen the new Star Wars- I saw it on opening day. I loved it and despite The Thing, I'm very intrigued by the character of He Who Shall Not Be Named.

I do not advise joining the insurance Dark Side. The cookies there are smelly and rotten. Joining the author or artist Dark Side however, I do advise. We have fresh, delicious, chewy cookies.

    1. Hah, thank you! You're so nice and loyaaaaal. *hugs*

#5 turned out so well because I really suck at hugs lol. $7 makes me so happy. *Scrolls up...* Oh Christine was cute. ;)

YAAAAAH IT WAS SO GOOD. I really loved Poe. I was sad for He Who Shall Not Be Named UNTIL THE THING. And then I was like DIE, FOO'.

..... OKay, I'mma go with chewy cookies. (eyhehehe. ChEWY.)

  6. I'm staying! My commenting is abysmal, but please know that I still love your blog. You're awesome. As long as you keep posting (no matter how sporadic), I'll keep reading. :D

Star Wars was great! I love how it stayed close to the spirit of the original trilogy, and was just a rollicking good adventure. And yes, *that* is unforgivable. Ugh.

Totally unrelated, but... Do you have a goodreads account? I've had one for a while but I've never really followed people - I've just used it to track what I read. If you have an account I'd love to see what you're reading, cuz you have great taste in books. Last year I read The Raven Boys (and sequels), Lark, and Enemy Brothers all because you mentioned them. :)

    1. THANKS!!! Hahah thank you. (I like to think I'm awesome lol.)

It was so GOOD! It was so much better than the prequels, and it felt like the Original Trilogy, but a little better paced. SO unforgivable. DIE LITTLE TWERP, DIIIIIEEEE.

I don't have a goodreads account.... I don't do very well keeping up with too many social places lol. But if you need more book recommendations, I CAN HELP WITH THAAAAAAT. (But wow, you read stuff just because I recommended it? AW I'M SO FLATTERED!)

    3. Hahaha! Well... I don't know when I'll be able to sit down and write a well thought out post about books, so I'll just recommend a few here....:

All Fall Down - By Allie Carter (Cause the main character reminds me of my best friend lol.)

Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones

OMG LOCKWOOD AND CO by Jonathan Stroud CAUSE LOCKWOOD, HOLY MACKEREL.

    4. Thanks! Howl's Moving Castle is awesome. More specifically, Sophie, Howl, and Calcifer are awesome, and I love them pieces. :)

I just added All Fall Down and Lockwood and Co. to my to-be-read list. Lockwood and Co. looks especially intriguing and very unique - I can't wait to find a copy!

    5. Howl is one of those character I love to pieces but I'd probably kill him him real life lol.

Lockwood is literally like an odd mix of Sherlock and Howl. o_O YES! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK

Or maybe everyone can't handle the Max and Tyler feels. Still can't decide who I like best. Actually maybe I like Kate best. LIKE I SAID I CAN'T DECIDE YOU CAN'T MAKE ME NIENER NIENER NIENER.

Favorite black and white: 6. Because...crying. SO SAD WHAT EVEN. DON'T YOU DARE DIE, TYLER. YOU'RE THE MEDIC.

Favorite colored: I like how 1 turned out. Perfect.

Have I seen the new Star Wars: YES TWICE I LOVED IT SO MUCH. <3 <3 <3

I actually could totally rant about the Dark Side. I will spare you since the question wasn't actually legit (or maybe it was, in which case, I might have to encapsulate that rant in my response to your email). But basically the Light Side always wins anyways and who would want to be evil when you can be on Rey and Finn and Poe's side????? Also, who wants to be evil??? Other than Kylo Ren...Darth Vader...Darth Maul....Jack maybe.... XDDD

Tristan's face in number one is gold. lol.

HOW CAN YOU WATCH STAR WARS IF YOU DON'T LIKE SCI-FI. WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK, HANNAH? STAR WARS IS LIKE AS SCI-FI AS IT COMES, HOW DARE YOU LIKE STAR WARS AND NOT DOCTOR WHO.

OOOH I'd like to hear your rant. RANT GIRL, RANT! ....I know. But seriously, Dark and light is kinda corny in itself lol. (Btw, Poe and Finn are BROOOOOS. And Poe better be in all dem cause he's fabulous... Kylo Ren needs to be smacked across his horse face. *Angry Treskie noises* Also... did you just accuse Jack of being on the dark side...?)

    2. You know, that's a valid all caps question you gave me. I don't know why I like Star Wars and not DW. It's possible that it's because there are like 10,000 episodes of DW and I can watch Star Wars for like two hours and enjoy it for that and be done (until the next movie comes out I suppose). I'm realizing that as a general rule, I don't like sci-fi, but mostly because a lot of it is really cheap and cheesy (not necessarily saying DW is that...I cannot make a judgement on that because I haven't really seen much of it) and just dull. The idea of having something science and fiction I am not actually against. I thoroughly enjoyed C.S. Lewis's Space Trilogy as well as Madeleine L'Engle's Wrinkle in Time books which are sci-fi, and obviously Star Wars. So then thus I can't say that I hate sci-fi. I'm not the biggest fan of it and I prefer Fantasy or Realistic fiction to it, but I have enjoyed some select sci-fi. Therefore my conclusion is that I just enjoy a good story and that's that.

That said I'm not watching Doctor Who because lots of reasons. *ducks all the spears you and every Whovian throws at me*

You really wanted that whole rant.

Hahahhaaaaaa noooo I don't know if you want to hear me rant. That could turn out to be a novel. XDDDD BUT I DO HAVE LOTS OF THOUGHTS ON IT. Maybe I'll include a section in my email. I'm emailing you today by the way. I WILL I WILL. I like the idea of Dark vs. Light. I can explain that in my rant... you sure you want it????? I loooove Poe. All of the good guys were just epic. Kylo Ren is a whole nother rant entirely.... but that'll probably be encapsulated in my Dark Side rant. I'm just building this battle up like the NHL channel builds up Rivalry night.... whew.... XD

And Jack is, after all, going to be an Evil Overlord. *shrugs and walks away*

      Delete
    3. ...... Okay, well that's fair. I mean yeah, the first couple of season of DW are really unbelievably corny. BUT Eleven's era is kind of a series of it's own and basically.... He and Rory and Amy are like a little family and it's awesome. (But see, I'm not super in to Science fiction books though. They didn't to irritate. I didn't know CS Lewis wrote a sci-fi series!? WHAT DIS?)

      **Throws all the spears**

      Hahahaha, Novels are fine. XD

POE WAS LIKE.... I liked him the minute he was like, "Who speaks first, am I supposed to speak first? You wanna?" and I was like, "HAWT." ehem. (Kylo Ren was whiny.) *is a little afraid to check email now lol.*

Excuse you, Jack is ALREADY and evil overlord.

I love seeing your drawings, plus your posts are really fun to read. You have a delightful, confident, yet vulnerable way of expressing yourself (do I even make sense)? But yeah that GIF made me grin XD.

Fav black and white: Uh, 4, because cheekbonnnnnes. My my, I could cut myself on those ... *does so, and applies mouth to finger*

Fav color: Probably number 1, because I like seeing the boys' clothes colored in. I lurve Tristan's shirt.

Yus, I have seen the new Star Wars. I thought that if The Thing had to be done, it came too soon. They should've saved it for the second movie, and let it happen in not such a stupid way. SPOILER ALERT: Like, you-know-who should've died for that little horse-toothed twerp in a beautiful noble heartwrenching death, instead of being tricked into thinking he had a change of heart into seconds. He's smarter than that!

Join the dark side, and then leave it, like Po. Aaahhh I need to draw a storm trooper helmet with blood on it like they had in the movie! Such color.

P.S. ... I want to see a drawing of Tristan and Kate smootching ... XDDDDDD pleeease?

Tristan's cheekbones are all cut up in that picture, cause explosions cause cuts sometimes lol.

Tristan's shirt is fun to draw cause BASEBALL STYLE.

.... Yeah... Well apparently the actor who played YOU KNOW WHO didn't want to sign on for more movies, so I was a little more okay with it. BUT THAT LITTLE TWERP-FACE NEEDS A MAJOR REDEMPTION STORY OR I SHALL NEVER EVER EVER FORGIVE HIM FOR TRICKING HIS PATER AND THEN DOING THAT. LITTLE TWERP. *angry treskie noises*

.... Actually I was like... How was there blood to put on his helmet when stormtroopers wear gloves and you didn't see his wound?? (But poor Finn lol.)

  13. That picture of Christine is one of the most adorable depictions I've ever seen! She looks sweet and innocent and friendly just like she should! And she looks absolutely perfect in the pic of her and Raoul, her expression, pose, everything. (I do like the way you drew Raoul even though he's a little stiff.)

Tristan and Kate--precious! I especially like how natural and heartfelt the poses look.

Ooh, Max and Tyler--another great pose!

I have not seen the new Star Wars--I'll wait for the DVD. I didn't have high enough expectations for Ep. 7 to pay money to see it in theatres. Mockingjay Part 2, on the other hand...

Favorite black and white--oh, hard to pick. Probably the picture of Christine and Raoul. There isn't enough fanart of them, and you drew the poses and emotions very well. Are you going to color it at some point?

Favorite colored--definitely the picture of Christine.

The Dark Side does have cookies--but it also has angst and villain cliches and a tendency to isolate you from friends and family. Probably more trouble than it's worth. :-)

    1. That pic of Christine was suppose to be Kate but her hair was too poofy lol. XD CHRISTINE IS ADORABLE THOUGH AND HER EYES WERE SO PRETTY. (But yeah, Christine's pose in that shot looks great but it's like she's hanging on to a mannequin... like ew, Raoul. lol.)

I LIKE TRISTAN AND KATE'S SQUISHY FACES.

*heavy breathing for Max and Tyler's combined attractiveness*

Actually, Star Wars was really, really good. It felt like the originals, but a bit faster paced, and it was definitely truer to the Star Wars legacy than the Prequels ever were. So... yeah. I was pleased with it. :) (I haven't seen EITHER of the mockingjay movies! WERE THEY GOOD?)

Wow really?? Haha, I don't know. I might, but I don't like coloring in pictures that I don't like one of the people in. I like perfection lol.

Little Lotte.... thought of everything and nothing. Her father promised her that he would send her the Angel of Music... her father promised her. Her father promised her.

It also apparently has this thing for masks that make you sound like you have asthma so... There's that.

      Delete
    2. Haha, I like perfection too, and sometimes spend 12+ hours on a sketch until it either looks the way I want it or I hate the piece. :-)

That line you quoted from "Wishing" reminds me of a thought I had last night: "Wandering Child" is almost a repeat of how the Phantom probably won Christine's trust and affection all those years ago. She'd lost her father, was grieving, emotionally vulnerable, and desperate for protection and guidance. Thus, she bought the whole "Angel of Music" thing. During "Wandering Child," she's wiser, but still emotionally vulnerable, and therefore *almost* returns to the Phantom. It would be interesting if an actress played that scene with a sense of deja vu to convey backstory that the musical doesn't directly provide.

It's good to know that Episode 7 feels more like Star Wars than the prequels. I've heard mixed reports about Ep. 7--people say it either felt *exactly* like Star Wars or it didn't feel like Star Wars at all. I'll have to see it for myself when it comes out on DVD.

The Mockingjay movies were good, but dark--at the same time, the darkness was there to make a point about the seriousness of the situations and what the characters were up against. (President Snow is one of the most frightening villains I've seen because he's always one step ahead of the heroes and very calm and controlled.) Mockingjay Part 1 has the least amount of action, but what's interesting is how each side uses propaganda to support their agendas. Mockingjay Part 2 has a LOT of action, and it's very intense, disturbing, and sad, sometimes downright bleak. But I liked them because they had a lot of food for thought.

    3. YOu know what *I* hate?? WHEN YOU'VE BEEN WORKING ON A DRAWING FOR AGES, AND YOU'RE GONNA PUT A FINISHING TOUCH ON SOMETHING AND IT RUINS THE WHOLE PICTURE.

Actually I've thought that too... The way the Phantom does that bit is totally like he's done it before and it freaks Christine out. Like the "Wildly my mind beats against you!" is her going, "I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND I CAN'T STOP IT." AND THAT'S SAD IN ITSELF. lol.... but yeah, I kind of wish Christine's would go back to the innocent portrayals that they used to have when Phantom first came out, instead of doing the whole feminist woman thing. *angry Treskie noises* ALSO I SAW SOMETHING SOMEWHERE, THAT IT WOULD BE COOL IF THE VIOLINIST WHO PLAYS WHEN SHE'S SINGING THE "Little Lotte thought of everything and nothing" WAS ON THE STAGE AS A GHOSTIE FATHER.

Yeah, and I can happily inform you that we went with a friend who's such a star wars geek she's read the extended universe stories and knows all about lightsabers and can tell you random obscure facts... and she loves it. so. :)

**prepares to duck tomatoes** I actually like the movies a lot better than the books. LET ME EXPLAIN! I hated Katniss in the books, she was selfish and manipulative... and yeah. But Jennifer Lawrence brought the humanity to her character so I liked her more in the movies. But overall I'm not super crazy about the Hunger Games storyline. Like... It seems really unrealistic for people to let their kids fight to the death. Even with a creepy government. I think it's unrealistic, especially for what,.... 75 years? Before a revolution? mmmmm. BUT I like the underdog aspect and how easy it is for the government to control stuff. That was interesting food for thought. :)

    4. UGH, yes that SO annoying! So is erasing and re-drawing to the point that there's a faint mark on the page that won't go away and adds an odd shadow to the drawing. Not like I would know anything about that... :-)

I haven't noticed any feminist portrayals of Christine...are you thinking of any specific actresses, or just a general trend? I think Christine's character should be a balance of caring, innocent, and quiet strength. After the title song, she's under no delusions about the situations, and she knows the consequences of angering the Phantom. She also makes the decision during "Wishing" to leave the past behind and move on--and she decides to sing in Don Juan. When I first saw the musical, I thought her a flat character with little depth. But then I took a closer look and discovered that wasn't true at all. :-) Oh, and having her father play the violin during that transition would be a great touch!

Don't worry; I'm not going to throw tomatoes. :-) Katniss *was* selfish and manipulative in the books--but I can appreciate that she's honest about it in Mockingjay, sees herself for what she really is. And I think she (or some other character) wonders what the difference is between the rebels and the Capitol, as each side used the same war tactics and propaganda tactics. The enemy is not the Games or the Capitol, but mankind's sinful nature.

I do see how the Hunger Games premise is unrealistic--on the other hand, the Capitol would punish rebels by hurting their families. So the majority of people probably didn't want to risk losing their families and friends if their attempts to fight failed. But yeah, you'd think at least some people would start minor uprisings and skirmishes every now and then.

      Delete
    5. Yeah.... *cough* Me neither. *Cough cough*

No, just in general, there's an undertone to the acting that irritates me. It's like they're not reading her character so much as imitating *other* people's portrayal of her. I dunno, I can see how people see Christine as flat because nowadays, she kind of is, and it's super annoying to me.
Also, have you noticed how it's, "Angel, or Father? Friend, or Phantom?" like... *friend OR Phantom* EITHER OR. NOT THE SAME THING. lol.

Ehehe, yeah, like that bit in... was it Mockingjay? Where she says that Peeta saw her as she really was and she hated him for it? (That whole rebel thing was something else that bothered me. The "good guys" should have been *good* and not the lesser of two evils.) I was mostly just like... the books left me feeling depressed, like there wasn't any hope left, and I don't like that.

That's a fair point-- hahaha, I don't know. I definitely like it better than Divergent... but Maze Runner makes more sense to me.

As usually, I love your Tristan and gang drawings. :)
Oh, yes! I did see Star Wars! Twice! It was a lot of fun, but left me with a lot of frustrating questions. :( I liked Rey. I almost cried when Han Solo died. But my brother-in-law is convinced that he didn't actually die, but got like taken along with Kylo Ren. Whatever!
Don't join the the dark side! They all have red light sabers, while the light side has blue and green! Such pretty colors! :P
    :)

    1. Heeeeee.
Tristan and Gang are really the first characters I've ever had that make me want to keep drawing them, and they keep getting more character and it's freaking me out, because they make their own decisions and THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT.

Yeah, I liked it a lot. .... I'm pretty sure Han is actually dead though, and that made me mad. I almost smacked my friend who didn't warn me lol. XD
Well... yeah, red isn't as pretty as blue and green..> BUT IS HAS THE CROSS GUARD AND THAT'S COOL.

    2. Ha! My brother-in-law said that he got the impression more and more as he watched the movie that Kylo Ren was a whiny teenager. He thought that the cool crossbar thingy was more like he was saying, " Ha! You guys only have one blade! I have THREE!" :D I'm afraid I'm inclined to agree. I do not find the Kylo Ren's saber all that awesome. :)

      Delete
    3. I GOT THAT SAME IMPRESSION. Like, "Oh get over yourself, peasant." hahahaha.

Weeeeellll. I dunno, at first I was a little dubious because of it's basically just for looks, but then I realized that he didn't get his hand chopped off like EVERY OTHER JEDI EVER and I thought OOOOH IT HAS A PURPOSE. lol.

  15. You're going to draw Luca? Awesome! He's one of my favorites. :)

My favorite colored is the first one. It's pretty awesome. I love the green and black shirt combination.

I also like #4. I'm not sure why. He just looks. . . intense.

Also that first POTO sketch! AAAAH! Yes.

    1. Mine too! He was so nice and big bro-like.

Aww. (I love drawing their shirts, to be honest. lol) the green on Tyler is the same color green as Kate wears and I thought it was a good way to show the brother and sister fact of Kate and Tyler's relationship. ;)

(He's sad and upset in that picture though!)

      AWWW CHRISTINE IS MY FAVORITE.

  16. haven't watched star wars and probably won't, I actually like the original triology better, does that make me sound old?

    1. Aw. Well... I loved the original trilogy, and I can honestly tell you that it stays really true to that feel. It's like 50,000,000,000,000,000,,000,000,000,000,000x better than the prequels lol. So if you ever change your mind. ;)

      But aaaaaw you're the best.

      You too! Thanks!

YES I HAVE SEEN STAR WARS!!! I loved it. It was amazing. And frankly….I thought Kylo Ren was the best villain evah and he’s my favorite character in that movie and I will be forever prepared to defend him on his Epicness as a Character. (I’m sorry if he’s the character who will remain Unforgiven by you….but….COME TO THE DARK SIDE. WE HAVE COOKIES AND EPIC-BUT-NOT-VERY-PRACTICAL LIGHTSABERS.)

IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!1 (Ehem. *blinks at you* He stabbed his father in the chest after making him think he was going to go good. SO UNLESS HE GETS A MAJOR CHARACTER ARC I'm going to refer to him as That Twerpface.) BUT HE REALLY DOES HAVE THE COOLEST FREAKING LIGHTSABERS.

  21. TRESKIE!!!!!! I LISTENED TO IL VOLO!!! AND THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! WHYYYYYYYY ARE THEIR VOICES SO PRETTY? AND WHY DO THEY HAVE TO SING IN ITALIAN SO THAT I CAN'T UNDERSTAND THEM? I actually prefer listening to their Italian songs over the English ones. I don't know why... BUT THE AMOUNT OF MUSIC AND POWER IN THEIR VOICES IS AMAZING!!!!!!

Favorite black and white is 5. It's cute. Also 6. Because BROS!! :) Favorite colored is 5. The song is pretty too. *she says while listening to it on repeat*

STAR WARS... It was awesome. Except that one part. PAIN.

Don't join the dark side! I have cookies too!!

    1. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! THEY'RE MY *GUYZ*!!! *PANTS* THEY'RE SO GOOD, AND THEY WERE SO GOOD WHEN THEY WERE LIKE 15, AND THAT'S INSANE AND..... THEIR MUSIC SPEAKS TO MY SOUL. Which songs have you listened to? HAVE YOU HEARD "BEAUTIFUL THAT WAY." OR "BEAUTIFUL DAY" OR OR.... "La Vita" ???? (I'm not gonna lie, Delilah is one of my favorites AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY.) Haha, why you like Italian more? I can't choose, because I like to hear them sing their own language, but I also like to understand their lyrics so... THEY HAVE SUCH MATURE VOICES. Okay I'm done. Sorry for flipping out on you. (I'M SO HAPPY YOU LIKE THEM THOUUUGHHHH!)

You literally picked all my favorites.....

      NEVER GONNA FORGIVE HIM.

      Yesss cookieesssss.

(OKAY LAST ONE, HAVE YOU HEARD, "SURRENDER")

    2. Whoops. I totally meant 7 about the colored. *headdesk*

I've only listened to Si Me Falta Tu Mirada (Spanish, but still beautiful) and We Are Love in both Italian and English. I also listened to Can You Feel the Love Tonight and half of Beautiful Day. I'll look up the other ones too. Si Me Falta Tu Mirada is my favorite so far. The music video is awesome and I LOVE THE SONG!!!!!! I love understanding what they're saying but it sounds more natural when they're singing in Italian or Spanish. They're beautiful and THEY'RE ALL SO FLIPPIN CUTE!!!!

      ~D. Skye <3

P.S. Listening to Beautiful That Way now. Ahhhhh...

      Delete
    3. I understood. lol.

We Are Love is so beauteous. XD (They do a surprisingly good version of Can You Feel the Love Tonight, because I don't LIKE that song, but I LOVE it when they sing it. *blink blink* THAT MUSIC VIDEO IS BEAUTIFULLY FILMED, JUST LIKE..... *heavy breathing.* I look up the english translations of their songs and it delights me. lol. (Although I find the italian accent attractive, so I don't care one way or the other if it sounds unnatural for them to sing in English lol!) THEY ARE ALL SO NICE LOOKING IT FREAKS ME OUT. Like... I honestly don't just like them because they're pretty, but that's what people immediately think, and it irritates because THAT'S SO SHALLOW. Their voices sound like the Three Tenors and it's awesome. Ehem.

      (Isn't it a gorgeous song??)

  22. I will never leave you, Treskie! Even though I comment really late, I'm still here! They be crazy people and don't deserve to follow you anyway.

Favorite Black and White? - The one of Tristan and Kate hugging! You drew the hugging so well!!! And the way their eyes are squeezed shut with emotion...it just looks so realistic!

Favorite Colored? - The 'Music Makes My Soul Sing' drawing! Me likey. Next time I'm caught up in a song I'm going to see music notes and butterflies floating around me :)

    Yay for more Phantom art!

Yes I did see Star Wars. It was really good! Although Robert and I had read some of the Star Wars books ( He's read like, 200 and I've read like, 1.) and we were kind of expecting the movie to follow the books to some extent. But apparently Disney isn't doing that. On its own, the movie was very well done. Except for the ONE PART. I cried during that part. It was awful! They get you all happy seeing the gang back together and then they did THAT :P Like you said, Harrison Ford didn't want to sign on for more movies, so I blame him :P I don't HATE the guts of Keylo Ren though...I hope they delve deeper into his story in the next movies. They did go overboard with the darth vadar wannabe thing. He's way too similiar to Anakin. Several people have said he looks like Robert and I'm not really seeing it. Maybe his hair behaves the same way, but other than that, nope.

Insurance is no fun, but stay strong! I bet their cookies don't even have chocolate in them!

    XOXO, dahling.

    1. Awww you the best. (For some reason I only just got this one, like... weird.)

I LOVE THE WAY THEY'RE HUGGING, CAUSE THEIR FACES ARE PERFECT. So thanks. Haha.

Aw yiss. That's the way I want it to be. ;) I love it when people pick up what I'm trying to show in my drawings. XD

      YASS!

RIGHT RIGHT???? Yeah... I know. I'm not such a big fan of star wars that I'll read the extended universes... is that what the books and things are called? We have some friends who are like the queens of Start Wars nerdisms, and they said the same thing about how the movie was excellent but it didn't really hold the continuity of the books. THAT ONE PART I HAD NO IDEA WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, BUT THE MINUTE HE WENT ON THE BRIDGE I WAS LIKE, 'OH NO HE'S GONNA GET STABBED IN THE FACE.' and he did and I smacked the girl next to me, because she didn't warn me. lol. (Kylo... Keylo... I don't know how to spell his name, Star Wars comes up with funky spellings.) I dunno, he bothered me lol. (They went overboard on the Vader thing so they could have his helmet so they could have his theme song, because it's not Star Wars without at least one part of "Dun dun dun, DunDUNdun DunDUNdun" lol.

OH MY GOSH HE DOES LOOK LIKE ROBERT, I CAN NEVER UNSEE IT.

It's not fun. lol. I bet their cookies have RAISINS!

      xoxo cheers. :)

    2. Yeah, I don't know if I will read anything more from the Star Wars series. CORRECT, that is what the books and such are called, according to Robert. I had no idea. I just read the first book of the young jedi knight series. My brother was (and he still is)a big fan of Star Wars when we were growing up and he really got me interested in the movies and merchandise. I remember the day he bought me my first Padme action figure...it was awesome! My parents also went to see the first Star Wars movie on their very first date together, so we were all destined to love it XD
I totes was not expecting THAT either, but yeah as soon as I realized he was going to be stupid and go onto that bridge with him I was all like "No. NO. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!". Silently, mind you.
I'm not really sure how to spell his name either, it just looked good to me :D

Haha, I hummed the tune to your dun dun dunning :D

NO HE DOESN'T, HE'S IS EVIL! Therefore, nope, nopeity, noooooo. Lol, I guess it could be an easy Halloween costume for Robert to pull off XD

I ALMOST SAID THE COOKIES ARE PROBABLY OATMEAL RAISIN! But then I thought "maybe she likes oatmeal raisin"...For me, they are tolerable, but Robert detests them. GIMME CHOCOLATE CHIP ANY DAY.

      Cheerio and all that!

    3. *fist bump* lol... I will say the action figures and merch from Star Wars is cool, and I geek out appropriately, but if I had a choice to say... have star wars merch, or Marvel merch, I'd probably choose Marvel, because A. Mavel, and B-Z) MARVEL.

Hahaha that's so cute that Star Wars was your parents first date. That's definitely a reason to love it. ;)

RIGHT? I was like. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, GET OFF THE BRIDGE YOU ARE GONNA *DIE*." and then he did, and I was like, "WHAT DID I TELL YOU."

Meerhherhheheh. I'm so good and dun-dunning.

YES HE DOES, HAHAHAHA. (Maybe Robert can be him for Halloween... but have it BEFORE the Dark Side consumed him lol.)

As the Pinterest pin said, "Raisin cookies that look like chocolate chip cookies are the main reason I have trust issues...."

  23. I'm not sure which one I like better...Star Wars or Marvel...hmmmm...that's a hard one. I am rather partial to Star Wars BUT Marvel is awesomeness. CAN'T DECIDE.

I KNOW, RIGHT? I would love to go back in time and sit by them and see their reactions! Maybe sneak in a futuristic camera :D

    SUCH SADNESS AND FRUSTRATION.

    You are!

NOOOOOOO! (Oui, c'est possible. I'd have to see what the next movies reveal about his character....) I could be Rey or however you spell her name! Not sure if I could pull off that hairstyle though, mine might be too long.

    LOL, that's awesome XD
