I just discovered toned paper.... AND.... IT IS THE MOST GLORIOUS OF ALL THE INVENTIONS.
It is golden. It is wonderful.
Toned paper is life.
So this week's drawings are predominately on toned paper, because TONED PAPER IS LIFE.
1.) First of all, here: I drew a dance, because even though I dance with the agility of a hammer, I really like it.
2.) More dance.... *Whistles forties music*
3.) All dis hair.
4.) Toned paper.......!!
5.) TONED PAPER.....!
6.) BROWN TONED PAPER. (This was actually my first attempt, but whatever, she looks like the girl from the Hillywood Show.)
7.) GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY.
8.) I freaking love this stuff, it is amazing.
9.) It thrills me. So it had to be paired with someone who thrills me, and so... Gianluca.

11.) I don't even know, guys. Toned paper has a way of making even just average art look good. And it's really really addictive....
Yeah.... I'm not a weirdo at all.
There are burnt cookies in the oven, and we just finished watching the third Ip Man movie and I'm on a little bit of a high, because seriously.... Ip Man is SO GOOD. All three of the movies! So good, so martial arty, so... deliciously violent.
What? Sometimes you just need a little violence in your life.
Ehm. It's awesome.

DeleteThere was dancing at my brother's wedding and I've never danced before, so...I love it, and I suck at it, but I love it lol. I KNOW I WAS SO DELIGHTED WITH THOSE EXPRESSIONS.

ReplyDeleteI think my favorite is probably the first one. They'll so. . . loose, and relaxed? They actually look like they're in motion. They look like they're dancing (you have to be relaxed and loose to dance). And I rather like dancing.
Also, #4 and the girl with the red hair. And #8! I love that short film. It's so adorable. :D

DeleteThe first one turned out so pretty. I love how happy they look. (And YASS I want stuff to look like it's in motion, stiffness irritates me. ;) I've never really danced until recently, with my brother in law and he's *really good* so it's really fun. :)

So, funny story time... I was with a few of my friends last week and I decided to tell them about Il Volo, because they were fangirling to me about Twenty One Pilots. At first I showed them Si Me Falta Tu Mirada, because it's my favorite, but then I decided to show them Grande Amore. They loved their voices and their faces, but they couldn't remember any of their names. Ignazio got renamed 'Clay Hands' because he comes into the picture in Grande Amore with clay on his hands and we couldn't figure out how it got there. Piero got renamed 'Panicky Face' because he always looks sort of panicked when he sings. (In a good way of course... XD) And there were really no distinguishing characteristics of Gianluca that we could make fun of, and my friend wanted to know who the 'Guy on the Left' was. She couldn't pronounce Gianluca, so we just called him 'The Guy on the Left'. Then I downloaded some pictures of him to her phone so that she could look at him whenever she wanted to. Fun times. :) I have now succesfully hooked 3 friends and my little sister on Il Volo. THEY SHALL RULE THE WORLD! Thanks for telling me about them. I am now officially obsessed. :)
