Your dragon image looks like it's from the Eragon series. You should read them. Don't bother with the movie...
ReplyDeleteBest of luck to you.
Really? Cool! lol. I haven't read the Eragon series yet, but I heard the movie was a dud.
DeleteThanks so much. :)
Yesssss, Eragon is amazing. Hate the ending a bit but.... it's still awesome. I didn't mind the movie too much... Oh well :)
ReplyDeleteHehehe. I'll add them to my TBR list. The dragon dies, doesn't he. That's why you hate the ending. nooooooooooooo.
Delete......the next time I go to the library with fifteen million books to request, none of which she'll have, I will blame all of the librarian's extra work on you....
ReplyDelete*snort* I can't help it that I have excellent taste. (Good grief, how small is your library?)
DeleteI am ashamed...I have literally only read one thing from this list. I've read the Gallagher Girls series (which I loved, BTW), but that's all. I've read so many books, I just haven't read the ones on this list. I will have to write all this down and next time I go to the library I will have a HUGE stack of books. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave you ever read the book Just Jane by William Lavendar? I remember really liking that book. I also really liked the Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu, if you like dystopian novels (which I definitely do!). And a million other books but I can't even think of them all! :)
Haha oh. Gallagher Girls is one of my favorite series, it's so fun. It's funny how people can read so much and still not have read hardly anything that someone else likes. I've done that with people too, like, "I THOUGHT I WAS A BOOKWORM. APPARENTLY NOT."
DeleteI haven't, what's it about??
Mmm I started the Legend Trilogy and *cough* didn't like the main character so I may have... stopped. BUT THAT'S JUST ME. I prefer fantasy to dystopian lol.
Just Jane is set around the time of the Revolutionary War and is about a 14 year old girl (Jane) who is the daughter of an English Earl but he passes away so she has to move to America to stay with her Aunt and Uncle (her mother had died when she was young). It's really mainly about the struggle she has because her family is against each other because some are Loyalists and some are Patriots, and she wants to make a choice that makes everyone happy, but she also wants to choose for herself at the same time. I thought it was a really good book. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd that's totally fine that you don't like the Legend Trilogy. Everyone has their own opinion, and quite frankly I like it when people have varying interests. It makes every person unique! (You probably already knew that, but I don't care XD)
That sounds a lot like the Hornet's Nest, by Sally Watson! Lol I'll have to see if I can find it somewhere. :)
DeleteExactly. lol... I dunno, I just get frustrated with the "sameness" of dystopian books. XD
REDWAAAAL! Megan Whalen Turner!! I love that you recomend The Theif and all the other books in the series! yay. Not enough people know about that series <3
ReplyDeleteHahaha yesss, Redwall!! Eulalia and all that! lol.
DeleteOoh the Thief Series is one of the best I've ever read. Her character delelopment is INSANE
Thank you so much! I thought I read a lot but I've read like two things on this list. I just finished filling up my library card... and my dad's... and my brother's... and my sister's...
