Thanksgiving!!

Hallo everyone!

Yes, yes, I know I have not posted in a while. NaNo has been getting in the way of everything. I have also had a case of blogger's block, and I am sorry. That is all the apology you are going to get. =)

So, Happy Thanksgiving! Anyone else having a hard time believing it's late November?

In keeping with the spirit of the holiday:

Five Random Things I'm Thankful For:

1.) I know it's cliche, but I'm so thankful for my family! Big Italian families are the best. Fun, silly, loud... (like... loud. EVERYONE SHOUTS AT THE DINNER TABLE TO MAKE SURE THEIR STORY IS HEARD! AND TO ENSURE THAT THEIR STORY IS UNDERSTOOD FULLY, WE USE EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF HAND MOTIONS!!)

2.) My frikken awesome friends who don't mind that I am probably the weirdest person they've met.

3.) My doggies.

4.) 'Nuff said

5.) But most of all, I need to thank God, for blessing with so much awesomeness and allowing me to be born and raised in a Catholic home.

And now, I'm going to go enjoy the rest of the holiday and spend time with my family.

God bless!

  2. Yeah, big families are quite fun (mine isn't that big. It feels big, but in comparison, unless everyone--including kids and spouses--are there, it's not that big... roughly twelve or thirteen. I expect your are bigger than that.) :)

Where abouts do you fit in (youngest-ish, middle, something like that...) ?

    1. Yep. :D Well.... we have thirteen in just my immediate family, including the parents, not including in-laws, nieces, nephews, or cousins. :D (I used to get so irritated when other people had more kids in their families than mine did. I was like, "Right. Dad, Mom, get to work.)

I'm near the middle, I'm number seven. I have five older sisters and a brother, and four little sisters. How 'bout you???

    2. I'm the youngest, lucky last! It's kind of odd, my older siblings were leaving home when I was three. I guess it would have been similar for you? On the flip side, I'm only twelve years age difference from my nephew, which is pretty cool. And fourteen from my niece. :)

    3. Actually, we were all pretty close in age, and the only person who moved out when I was so little I didn't remember was my brother. Two of my older sisters got married when I was around 9-10, I'm only about 11 years older than my oldest niece. :D

  3. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
AYE!!!! New Josh Groban CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Dances around the room* I've not heard this song in a long while. I want to buy his Closer CD because I'm missing a lot of the songs from it...such as You Raise Me Up which is one of my favourites by him.

Hugh Jackman seems to be the reason a lot of people wished to see the movie. I wanted to see it for Jack Frost...but I didn't really know about Hugh Jackman until I found out he was in Les Miserables, then my brother told me all about the movies he's been in...well, the Xmen movies.
All I can say about him is...WHY DOESN'T HE USE HIS ACCENT ALL THE TIME?! Why? It is sooo cool. He made a Bunny cool by using it...why change an accent like that? If he doesn't want it he could always give it to me...
Anyhow, the movie is great, and Bunny is very cool. He was one of my favourites in it.

    And now...

Allons-y! (I should have learned how to write Happy Thanksgiving in French...)

    1. Eeek! I love him so much. LOL. You Raise Me Up, is defo one of his best, but gosh, I can't chose one favorite. I love Oceano, Hear My Confession, Remember When it Rained, When you Say You Love Me, and Never Let Go..... AND THOSE ARE JUST FROM CLOSER!!!!! Giggle!

Haha, I hadn't heard of Hugh Jackman really either. I knew he was in X-men but that's it. And then I saw Real Steel, and it was love. (not to that extent, but he became one of those few celebrities I actually care about and pray for a lot.) And then I saw him in Oklahoma, (guys who sing are instantly more awesome) and then we watched X-Men, and I came to the conclusion that he is the only reason to watch them. I've been spoiled by the Avengers when it comes to superhero movies.
I don't know why he doesn't use his accent much, it suits him so much more. Haha! He's the only person I know who can make the Easter Bunny cool....

      :D

  4. Our Thanksgiving's are really wonderful but our CHRISTMAS's are better *Smile*
I KNOW!! I was like "hey wait... where did Halloween go off to in such a hurry?" It was like it was trying to clear out of 2012 as quickly as possible and let Christmas have its turn. Geesh Holidays! Slow down.

'Normal' people worry me. and Crazy people have more fun anyway. So you're all good :D

"There's so much to be thankful for" Man I love Josh. And that song is fantastic. It gives me chills.

A Random Remark; "Here's to today; Doctor Who Day. That's somthing to be Thankful for!!"

    God Bless

    1. Awww thank you! (We are amazing, but I don't brag..... lol.)

..... I'm pretty sure that's asking if I speak Italian, and unfortunately no, I don't. I'd like to learn, but my Nono stopped speaking it when he was growing up so... yeah, I'm a horrible Italian American lol.
      Thanks!
      Cheers.
