Semper Fidelis! (or...... a belated Veteran's Day post)

I have to say, right here, right now.... that I have a massive  soft spot for soldiers. They are so brave, so loyal..... so awesome.

There really is nothing quite like a soldier.

And because I always cry over happy reunions, I felt the need to share. You have to watch these marines surprising their families. It's awesome.

God bless, y'all!

  1. Very cool post, Treskie.
    OO-RAH!

I totally cried over that clip of the soldiers coming home. *sniff*

"Most people live their lives wondering if they made a difference... Marines don't have that problem." LOL. I love Ronald Regan.

  3. Aw, I like the picture of the soldier having tea, that one is so sweet.

The little girl seeing her daddy again always makes me cry. That is just so cute. "My daddy?"

Both my grandpas and most of my uncles and some of my cousins have served, so I've a bit of a soft spot for soldiers as well.

  4. Oh, I was crying and forgot to answer your comment.

Yes, holding my book is VERY surreal. I flip through it and then it will hit me, "I wrote this," and then I will want to dance around the room.

And don't underestimate your own work. You never know who would like it. *Grin*

Oooooooooooh, your family sounds awesome! My cousin is in the marines too, and I find him to be exceedingly cool. But even relations aside, soldiers are epic. :)

Aw, thankee for the encouragement... haha, I've just decided not to let anyone read my novels, bit awkward. :D

And oh! Thank you for the follow! *screams delightedly* It made my day! X
