Good Friday

On Holy Thursday, Our Lord was arrested.

On Good Friday, 2,000 years ago, He suffered and died for our sins.

It wasn't just the three hours during which He hung on the Cross. It was all day, from Pilot, to the scourging at the pillar, to the carrying of the cross, to His death. He suffered all day because of what we have done.

"For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting." John 3:16

God bless.

  5. Happy late Easter to you!!!

I agree about Tintin - as in it being like Indiana Jones just without some of the creepy stuff. Second movie...hearts being pulled out. NASTY!
Also, Haddock being Scottish is beyond cool, and I love Sir Frances.

The A to Z Challenge is something a blogger put together. During April you pick a theme, or no theme, and do a blog post every day but Sunday starting with a letter from the alphabet. So, like, the first was A, second was B, and so forth. It has been fun. Something new to try while I edit.

Well, if Americans can eat hot dogs I suppose we should be able to eat haggis. I bet it is better for a person anyways. And being a Scottish food makes up for its oddness.

    1. Hahaha. I've only seen the first and last Indiana Jones. My dad enjoys them, but he doesn't watch them all the time, and the rest of my family finds the nasty aspects to be too much for their stomachs. Which is sad.

      Sir Frances was SO cool!

ooh. I see. Hmmmmm. Maybe I should do it next year. lol.

I'll try it if you try it, how 'bout that? We can try it together and if it's good, hurrah!
