Day twenty-one: A song you listen to when you're happy

When I'm happy I listen to all kinds of music.

Like seriously. I'll just put my mp3 player on random and listen to whatever plays. Loud music, sad music, happy music, it's whatevs. Hehe.

Choosing this song was hard.

After some extreme cheek biting and puzzlement, I just turned on my mp3 player and chose the first song it played.

This was I Need a Hero by Jennifer Saunders.

It's pretty cool that it was that particular song that randomed on, because it's really relatable.

"I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night

He's gotta be strong

And he's gotta be fast

And he's gotta be fresh from the fight.

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light

He's gotta be sure

And it's gotta be soon

And he's gotta be larger than life

Larger than life.

Ahem. Yeah. I love that song. It's a good song. I like the sentiment.

Anyhoo, we went out into the wilderness today. It was really awesome. I'm prolly going to do a post about it tomorrow, because it was so nice, it deserves a post.

In the meantime here's a gif that makes me very happy.

Cheers!

  1. Every time I hear that song I think Sherk and Prince Charming with blond, flippy hair. Now I will probably always think Winchester. Thanks.

    1. I know this song is from Shrek, but I haven't actually seen it. Is it worth the watch?

Hehehehehe. You're welcome? I always thing Winchester when I hear it. I actually think about all my fictional heroes when I listen to it.

    2. Eh...its an okay movie. It has some funny parts, but I have never really cared for it. It isn't bad....just kind of....gross. He's an ogre, so...yeah
