Stuff. And more stuff. And what does the fox say?

Uuuhhnnggg.

I've backspaced that first line like a bazillion times, trying to think of something awesome  to say.

Unfortunately, nothing came to mind, so uuuhhnnggg is all you're going to get. *smirk*

But hey ho, here we go. Several of us ventured out to a great and beauteous valley full of trees and autumness yesterday!

We brought books, and food, and coffee, and it was freaking epic.

Seriously. It was gorgeous.

So we feasted and talked about fictional characters.
And then carved our names into a fallen tree. (since it was already dying, we did not feel guilty, carving it up.)

And proceeded to take full advantage of the beautiful scenery and have photo shoots.

See my cute new boots? Happiness, right there.

Yeah, it was really, really fun. I think it's good for the soul to be outside on days like that.

"Earth's crammed with heaven,
and every common bush afire with God."
-- Elizabeth Barrett Browning

I've been feeling really random lately. Because I am a fool, and wondered what the big whoop was about Ylvis the Fox, I looked up that video.

Yeah, I'm a moron.

Now, I go around sporadically yelling, "WHAT DOES THE FOX  SAY!?" at my little sisters who obligingly chorus, "Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!"

My mother is going to lose her mind soon.

On top of that, because of this one silly episode of Supernatural, I've taken to roaring, "FIGHT THE FAIRES!" at random intervals and cackling fiendishly to myself.

Speaking of Supernatural, I'm a little embarrassed, but I decided to post the Dean inspired outfit. I feel cool when I wear it. How sad is that?

Aaaand now! For the challenge.

sigh.

Day 22: A song you listen to when you're sad

When I'm sad, I listen to sad songs.

So I can be more sad. Haha!

Actually, no. I listen to sad songs-- or rather-- melancholy songs, because they help me get my emotions out. So hmmm. Here's one.

Is Nothing Sacred Anymore by Russell Watson

Is nothing sacred anymore?
Is forever just another word?
Is a promise something people used to keep
When love was worth fighting for?

If we can say good-bye,
If we can say good-bye,
Is nothing sacred anymore?

Sad song.

.... ... ... ... FIGHT THE FAIRIES!

Cheers!

  1. Your new boots are awesome! I'm thinking I need a pair of lace up boots now...well, I actually do have a really old pair that are falling apart. So, those don't count. ;) Love these pictures!

    1. Thanks! :D I love them. They were on sale at Target.

Amy took most of the pictures, she's getting really good at photography.

  2. Haha, I just realized the necklace thingy you are wearing. (If it helps ease your embarrisement, I have this oversized hoody thingy I wear sometimes. Because, Sammy used to wear that big hoody thingy in the first few seasons. We are now official major fan girls.) I love saying that. Being an author, it is my goal in life to write characters who girls will fan girl over, but being a fan girl is so much more fun than trying to make other girls into them. "In what way do you resemble a means of keeping one cool?"

I am sleep deprived right now and suffering from a cold, and giddy because of an email you sent, so this is going to be nothing but random spurts of randomness - just so you have a heads up. (Also, my heart was broken into itty bitty pieces, so...there's that too.)

Your leaves are prettier than mine, can I trade?

Is that a real pistol? I want to get one like that, only a smaller version. I'm trying to convince my brother I don't need a massive huge one.

I am now going to randomly shout, "Fight the fairies!" As well as seriously asking people "I'm not supposed to laugh, right?" Because I love that line, and it pretty much sums up my thoughts while people are ranting over random serious things.

Now I'm starting to fall asleep. (I have about three emails started to send to you, but when I go to finish them I just stare at them and nothing makes sense.) When is Easter? I will be asking that in an email probably.

Okay, I am going, for real.

    1. Haha! I actually like my necklace thingy better than Dean's because mine doesn't look like.. a creepy face thing. I do feel better that you wear a hoodie that reminds you of Sammy. Thanks for that. :) But huzzah for major fangirls! We rock the world. lol. Mehehehe. Oh, I think Peter has the material to make fangirls out of girls. I'm thinking, when I'm done with the illustrations, I might need to do a 'just for fun' picture of the book. We'll see. The possibility is very high.

Ack! I THINK I know what email that was, and it makes me giddy and thrilled to know that your are giddy and thrilled over it. *boing boing boing* Random is good. Hence the title of my blog.

Noooooo, you cannot trade. I like my pretty leaves. You can have some though. *hands you a handful.*

It's not technically a real pistol, it's a BB gun, and I technically wasn't supposed to be using it, since it's mah Daddy's. Shhhhh. LOL. I want to eventually get a smallish pistol, because the only ones I've actually used are 45 glocks, which are fun, but the grips are MASSIVE and my hands are tiny, so I want a 22, I think. I don't know for sure, I'll need to talk to my teacher.

FIGHT THE FAIRIES!! You fight those fairies! Haha! Oh, I've already used the "I'm not supposed to laugh, right?" line several times. It's ridiculously applicable.

Heheh, not to worry. Easter is.... later April, I think... like the 20th or the 25th.

      FIGHT THE FAIRIES!

      Witch.

    You're so cute. :D

Hehehe. I love your Dean inspired outfit. :)

I do that too! Sad songs. every time. ugh. yes. NOTHING happy when I'm sad. only sad stuff. haha. actually, I pretty much only listen to sad stuff anyways....pretty much always. Is that weird? I just love it better.... idk

    1. ME TOO! AREN'T THEY ADORABLE!?!? You should get some. I put it off for a few years, but they're so worth the money. ;)

      I am? Aw.

Hahah! That's how my mom feels about that song.
LOL poor Jonni. At least my sisters kind of like it... it gets stuck in my head though, and that is a pain. lol. I

I rather fancy it myself. I go around talking like a Winchester when I'm in it.

Sad songs tend to have more soul to them than the happy ones, I think. Most of my favorite songs are heartbreaking too, so no worries, it's not weird. Unless I'm weird too. *puzzles about it* oh who cares. Weirdos unite!

I like you lots too, we should TOTALLY email! I like that idea.... you first? Jonni has my email. ;)

    1. Birch trees are some of my favorites too! But that forest was mostly aspens.... whatever they both turn the most incredible colors in the Fall.

      You should come sometime then!!

Thank you! Those boots are possibly the nicest things I've bought all year.

    Really? Awwww.

That stupid, stupid song! Irritation mostly wins out whenever it gets turned on.

    "Mo-o-o-o-orse, mo-o-o-o-orse...."

  8. Believe it or not, my mother introduced me to that song! ( Although my brother showed it to her first) So now every time we see anything fox-related, we look at each other and belt out "WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY?". Tee hee :D
I love your plaid shirt! I've been really into plaid lately. And the boots, can't ignore the boots. They are very nice indeed. I need to get myself a pair!
