Guess What!!

I freaking graduated!!!

So, I know I'm a bit late.... (I may have fallen behind the teensiest little bit.) But I did it, I completed high school before the official start of summer, so BOOYA! Done. Forever. Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalalala.

A little over-dramatic? Nah, I don't care. I'm hyped. lol.

I'm also a little terrified. I mean, sure, graduating is that thing you dream of since kindergarten.... but what you don't realize in kindergarten is that graduation also means real life starts. Jobs and responsibilities and all that stupid stuff....

So instead of just having that jubilant joy that I was all ready for, I have a bit of nervousness mixed in.

You know that part in Tangled where Rapunzel keeps going back and forth, not sure how she feels about leaving the tower? That, my friends, is me. That is me exactly. Everyone I know agrees with that.

I'm like, "YES! GRADUATION! WOOOOOT!!

And then I go, "Oh my gosh. What do I do with my life?

Never mind, who cares? Life is good! I shall go play in the forest.

Uuugghhhh.. Growing up stinks.

Freeeeeeedoooooooooooooom!

I should really start looking for a job.

NO! I am never growing up!

I have to grow up.

MY LIFE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!

Oh yeah. Life.

Hehe. So yeah. I'm stoked and excited about finishing high school, but I'm really apprehensive. I'm not good with the general public and the idea of going out into the world and getting a job and... you know... having a life... that's a really terrifying idea for me. But it comes in waves. During the day, I'm all:

and then evening rolls around and I'm just:

BUT MOSTLY I'M:

Now's when my life begins!!!!

And now I will leave you with these two clips.

Cheers, y'all!

Lol, your Rapunzel analogy is a perfect description of how it feels to graduate! Love it!
And don't worry, even though it can sometimes feel like you're the only one in the whole world who has no idea what to do with their life, there are tons of people who feel the same way. And I am for sure in that boat! No one really has it down pat anyways!

Well 3 1/2 years isn't bad. You're close! So... you're in Eighth Grade now?

    2. Half way through Grade 9. You call them Grades?! I'm amazed. Totally made my day. That must sound really weird, but everyone I know who doesn't live in Queensland calls them "Years." I thought Americans did "Year Nine" instead of "Grade Nine." I thought I was weird or something. ;)

      Delete
    3. Haha... we Americans feel like we have to be different, I guess. But yeah. We do grades, not years. We're so weird. LOL.

I KNOW! TANGLED IS AWESOME!! Haha... Algebra, it is my firm belief, was invented by a man to torment women. lol.

      Thanks for the comment!!!!!!!

    2. Since you like the old Star Trek (we do too), cheesy 60's effects and all, I think you'll really like the classic DW. First Doctor through the fifth are the best, after that...not so much :)

    3. Yeah, the old Star Treks are the best. :D I want to find time to watch the Classic Who... but I'm so busy, I don't know when I'll be able to immerse myself. lol.

  14. If you get a castle, can I come visit it?

Good job for finishing school! I think school would be hard work, and you should get a cookie for doing it. *Passes a cookie.* Or maybe two. *Passes two*

You could go on an adventure now and meet Flynn. But if you meet him can you come see me? I think he is funny and I want to meet him too.

*takes cookies* School is hard, but not so hard as people make it sound. All it takes is a little determination.

Hehe, well with Tangled, she is just how I am there. I do the back and forths ALL the TIME so it just seemed perfect to stick her in here. I'm glad it fit. :D

    THANK YOU!!! I TRY! LOL

  16. Emily!

Yeah, growing up stinks a little bit. Things change and I hate change.

So... P5 is... primary fifth year? I don't know, because I'm American and... you know we do it differently. I'm guessing Big Bad Fourth Year is close to our 9th grade, but let me know, because I'm probably wrong. lol.

Yeah... it's weird when your friends and sisters grow up and stop doing things that they used to. Grrrrrr. Growing up.
