Picture Saturday- I introduce my OCs

I have characters.

They are wonderful characters.

And my attempt to write their story is so unbelievably bad.

So I've taken to drawing their story instead, and it's making me really happy.

I've had this story fluttering around in my head for a few years now, and while I know what I want it to be, the story has other ideas, and after quite a few attempts, I've sort of given up on ever completing it, because I cannot write. I am not a writer. What is writing....

Yeah so... Chris and Rose have a complicated relationship, and it's amusing and adorable and... and... annoying. Yay, for alliteration!

Ehem, but anyway. So this week is mostly doodles of them... You should be proud of me, I only drew two more Phantom things!! But I may have... possibly... watched it again.... maybe... so....

1.)  Chris tends to tell Rose random "true" facts, and since she knows he's prone to exaggerating, she usually looks at him with various expressions of disbelief.

 2.) Mhmm, so fabulous.

 3.) There was a bad day where I drew a bunch of sad pictures, because that's how I find an emotional outlet.

 4.) So sad.

 5.) Many tear.

And for some reason, when I inked it in, his jaw grew square, which bothers one. 

 6.) So much love.

 7.) And because she's a feisty little idiot, they get into frequent heated arguments.

 8.) So he finally tells her that if they're going to bicker like a married couple, they might as well be a married couple, and it's cute.

 9.) Here, have a really rough draft of Sam and Dean.*

*Really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really. So it's not awesome.

10.) SO I'M STILL DRAWING PHANTOM.........

 11.) I'M SO EXCITED THAT THIS ONE TURNED OUT, BECAUSE I WAS WORRIED THAT IT WOULDN'T, BUT IT DID, AND I LOVE IT.

 *Pants because Phantom.* I'm sure the obsession will wear off soon, but as it is, I'm still all flippy over it, so. I apologize.

I'm all out of stuff to say, ladies and gents. (Do gents even follow this blog? Hello?)

I'm going as a pirate type person for the Ren Faire tomorrow, and it should be fun.

   I dreamt I dwelt in marble halls.....

   I don't know, I don't actually dream these days. Or, at least I don't remember them, and when I do remember, it's usually a nightmare.

2. What do you normally eat for breakfast?
    I don't eat breakfast.

3. Any songs that you just absolutely love? 
    Right now? In general? Could you be vaguer? At the moment I just absolutely love every song on Stages. JOSH SANG EMPTY CHAIRS AT EMPTY TABLES. Yeah, I basically listen to Josh's music like:

    Of mine, I'd have to say.... uhm. All my posts are the same: pictures, and/or boring, so.... You pick, what's your favorite post that I've done recently?

And that's pretty much just because it has been rainy and gray all week, and I'm ready for a rainbow now.

    I don't like being passed when I'm driving the speed limit. If there were no cops, I would drag race before letting people pass me.

Picture Saturday: Better late than never?

Yeah, I know. It's barely Saturday still, and for some of you, it's Sunday... so... I'm sorry.

It's just been a day, you feel me?

Guess what we're doing tonight. We're rewatching some Grimms because... much as we like Sleepy Hollow. It is not. Grimm. 

I love rewatching episodes with people who haven't seen them. I literally sit there and watch them like this.

And it drives them crazy, but hey, I like it.

That being said, we're also watching the first two episodes of Supernatural s10.

I do not want to watch my Dean be a demon. It will not be fabulous. 

It's gonna be a fun night. 

So anyway, here, Picture Saturday. 

1.) Le 100 Cupboards fanart of Henry and Henrietta. (Shhh. She does not look like Pippi Longstocking, how dare you.)

 2.) Le Frank from 100 Cupboards, because Frank is aaaaaaaawesome. 

 3.) Le Henry carving his last words into the wall. I really like how Henry's turning out. He's a cool kid. 

 4.) Le guitarist. (No, contrary to popular believe, I did not draw it because Jensen Ackles sang Will Ye Go, Lassie Go. BUT JENSEN ACTUALLY SANG WILL YOU GO LASSIE GO AND I HAVEN'T FREAKED OUT SO MUCH IN AGES. I've been wanting to draw a guitarist for a while, but watching Jensen put me in the mood. Because... he's awesome, and plays guitar and sings and yeah, and I'm going to shut up now because this is getting awkward.)

 5.) Le Other Guitarist, whom I am also quite absurdly fond of. (again, I deny it being in any way caused by Jensen Ackles being Jensen Freaking Ackles.) The writing is a quote from Leverage, when Eliot sings for one of their cons. 

6.) And the grand finale! (though, it might not be grand so much as just the finale) The drawing I did of Little Fall of Rain. You know, from Les Mis when yet another character dies on the barricade.

I am a little out of it right now, so this post isn't going to have a good ending. (It didn't have much of a beginning either, but hey ho cheerio.)

Best! Day! Ever!

So, anyone who read my last post knew that I was on the edge of panic because I had to take my driver's test on "Tuesday." My bad, guys. It was Wednesday. Yesterday.

And....

And...

And...........

I PASSED!!!

I FREAKING PASSED!!!

AND SHE WROTE GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!!!!

The relief, guys. So. Much. Relief. I can sleep again! I had forgotten what that was like! (no, seriously, I barely slept all week, as you can tell from the above picture of me.)

So I treated my mom to Starbucks.

And I danced in my bedroom.

And I hung out with Sammi (the friend, not the niece.)

And then! I drove my little sisters to the library all my by myself!! And that's when it really sunk in, the license, and we rolled down the windows and sang very loudly along with Counting Stars, which happened to be blasting from the radio.

And then we came home, and I turned on more music, and turned it up loudly, deliciously so.

This song did it for me.

And drew this.

Which I like, so I might end up filling it in and fleshing it out, and making it more than a sketch.

Five Random Facts!

1.) My brother's been watching me work on illustrations for Jack's book. He scowls a lot and says things like, "All I can do is add number together." (He's very good at math.) It's ridiculous how happy that makes me. He's asked me to draw some character sketches for his book. *rubs hands together.* My evil plan is working.

2.) I heard Carry On, My Wayward Son on the radio today. I screamed. It made my day. 

3.) Whenever I listen to Eye of the Tiger, my nieces start jamming like Jensen Ackles. It's really most adorable.

4.) Leverage is now on Netflix! Ha! The awesome!!

I'm so happy.

5.) I've been re-reading a lot of Diana Wynne Jones' books. I think, if they ever make the Chrestomanci Chronicles into movies, they should totally cast Benedict Cumberbatch as Chestomanci. 

He'd be perfect.
