CONFETTI, IT'S A PARAAADE!

"THIS IS THE END," Treskie bawls at the top of her lungs, "HOLD YOUR BREATH AND COUNT TO TEEEEN."

It's the last day and the happiness I feel is epic.

Don't get me wrong, I think  I'm glad I did this. I actually liked having a prompt and posting every day for a month.

But it got really old, really, really fast.

I will not be doing another one of these for a while, if ever. It gets boring! And I'm pretty sure you guys were bored too.

If not:

If so:

I apologize.

Anyway.

Day Thirty:Your favorite song at this time last year

I'm pretty sure this time last year I was obsessed with Il Volo.

Like, to the point where I informed my mother (in jest, of course) that I was going to marry the middle guy.

*Cough*

So here's one of my favorites.

This Time

Tell me you're in
Tell me I'm home
Promise you'll stay
And don't let me go.

I'm waiting for a sign
So tell me that it's real this time.

Let me in
kill this doubt
'Cause from this high it's a long way down.
Break my fall catch me now.

Tell me you're in
Tell me I'm home
Promise you'll stay
And don't let me go.

I'm waiting for a sign.
I need to know it's real this time.

Isn't it purty?

And now I shall away.

And I shan't be blogging tomorrow.

MWHAHAHAHAHA!

Cheers and God bless.

IT'S OVER.

Higher than the pines

Three Random Facts:

1.) I finished season two of Once Upon a Time!!

Kay, I was actually pretty impressed... A lot. Not to the point where I giggled and clapped like a retarded seal, the way Bella does. (I love you, Bella.) But I had feels. And I wasn't expecting that.

I really, really like Neal. He's possibly my all time favorite character of the show.

3.) I wore a Dean Winchester inspired outfit today. I was very proud of it and felt all tough and cool. I forgot to take a picture, but it looked something like this. only blue and black.

I need a life.

3.) DAY EIGHTEEN of the challenge!

A song you wish  you heard on the radio

While I am inundated with songs that hope.....one day..... to be music, it tends to be pretty rare that I hear good music when I turn on the radio.

I'm going to cheat and do two songs. BAM! Switching things up! You didn't see that coming, did you!

I'm so cool.

Honestly? I'd love to hear some Josh Groban. Jooooooooooooooooosssshhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Frankly, I don't even know what station he'd be on, but if I did, I'd listen to that station.

You're the Only Place

"Maybe I'm young and in the ways of love naive
Maybe I'm desperate for a reason to believe
There wasn't any way I thought that we would fall
I've seen perfection in a rainbow in the sky
I've seen a child make the coldest grown man cry
But loving you I thought was greater than them all"

However, since we tend to listen to the country station whenever we turn on the radio, I'd really like to hear some more Scotty McCreery, because his voice is really good and his songs are fun.

"I'll love you to the moon and back
I'll love you all the time
Deeper than the ocean
And higher than the pines."

*Whispers* Good bye.

Peace out, I'm Batman!

Hello.

Hallo.

'Olo.

FIVE RANDOM FACTS!

1.) My bestest cousin surprised me with a visit over the weekend. (Everyone else knew she was coming up. I did not. They keep doing that to me. lol) It was really lovely! We had lots of coffee and cookies and brownies.... (Wow. I do  talk about food a lot. It's almost like we must have food to truly have a good time!) We watched Psych and played hide-n-seek. In the dark. We went and hung out at the beach. It was funnnnnz.

Yes, we are geeky.

2.) In less than a week, something awesome is going to happen at my home! I can't tell you what it is yet... (it's a surprise for a couple of people who might take it into their heads to read my blog) BUT IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME AND I'LL TELL YOU SOON!!!

3.) I'm watching the second season of Once Upon a Time. It's good so far. I'm glad James is James again and not David.

4.) I don't like Mulan though. She's.... just terrible. And what's with the hair?

5.) I want to be completely honest with you guys. Supernatural is definitely a grown-up show. I know I have some younger people following me, and I don't want you guys to be misled into thinking that it's squeaky clean, because it's not, always. There's usually an inappropriate line or conversation, and so far there's been one or two episodes a season that have a shameful scene in it. My sister and I have skipped a couple episodes because of said scenes. I don't want to recommend it to anyone without warning you first. It can get a little bit dirty.

And now, I shall away, with a flit and a flutter and a cheerful... something or other.

Cheers!

What I've been watching!

I was re-reading a few of my older posts, and I realized that I start most of them with the word 'So'.

At first I thought this was a problem.

But then I thought, you know.... whatever. Trademark!

SO!

I've started watching Once Upon a Time with Kat.

Quick summary:
The Evil Queen uses her magic to transport everyone from their Fairytale world to the real world. No one, save the queen can remember anything about their past lives.
Only Emma can save them from the curse.

Le trailer!

This is prolly not going to be spoiler free, so continue at your own risk.

HOLY COW! I was not expecting to like it as much as I do. I was expecting it to be average, since out of the three people I know who watch it, two weren't very impressed.

The sillies.

I think it's brilliant.

Wow. I'm a little obsessed. Okay, a lot.

In fact, I only have one problem with it..... See, I usually have a really  hard time with Modern Speak in fantasy. (In my opinion, American accents should not exist in fantasy, since fantasy is set in medieval times, [usually in England] and America wasn't even discovered until the 1400s. So it's inaccurate. Booya!) But in this one, I can overlook it. I think it's because my favorite character can are able to make it sound like Fantasy talk.

I love how the work two different worlds together.

I love seeing how they do fairytale characters so we know who they are, but twist their stories just a wee bit, so it's totally unique. :)

The romances are cute, usually.

And I mostly love the costumes. There are some "hmmm" ones for the ladies. But all  the guys have cool outfits.

I have two favorite characters. Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold, and Prince Charming/David.

Now, before you get all creeped out over Rumpelstiltskin's freakishness and scary makeup... believe me, the guy is a good actor (those of you who've seen Hamish Macbeth will understand.) And there's something oddly likeable about that little weirdo. He giggles funny, has a great accent, and he has a really sad back story.

And he doesn't always look like that.

Now, Prince Charming/David is a brilliant actor. He's such a sweetheart! And he fights like a boss.

He was fighting while holding his baby!!

Snow White I like more in the "real" world rather than in the Fairytale one, because the actress is just a touch too modern when she's in the fairytale world. She's a sweetie though.

I guess I'm not hugely  fond of Emma. She does grow on you, but she's just a little too 'hard' for the role. (I also thought they should have gotten someone who looked twenty-eight rather than thirty-five. But that's just me. :)

The Evil Witch is SO EVIL. Suffice it to say she is mean and awful and steals ALL the happy endings for herself. *scowl* We hates her gutses, we do.

I'm so emotionally involved. Haha! It definitely ranks up there with DW, Sherlock, Psych, and Leverage for me. Or maybe I'm just in the perfect mood to watch it... but right now. Wow.

^^^^^ I LOVE that quote.

You should go find them and watch them.

That is all.

Cheers!
