Picture Saturday-- The Rise of the Baseball Shirts.

Hey look, this isn't posted super late this time! I'm fabulous.

Oh, and incidentally, I flipped out a little, because I realized I could use this gif in my blog post today.

I don't know, it's just so satisfying to use a gif that is so perfectly applicable.

I'm thinking about giving Occasional Randomness a face lift. Just a little one. What do you think?

I love October.

I don't even know what it is about it. It's just such a beautiful month, with all the changing colors and the little briskness in the air, and that delightful crisp smell that just makes me want to take long walks, and get cute sweaters, and drink coffee, and bake lots of scones and banana bread and apple pie, and just.... just create.

But then again, I'm not overly fond of gray days. I like rain. I love rain, actually. It's very atmospheric and it puts me in the mood for movies and something hot to drink... I'm always tempted to go outside and splash in puddles... usually though, I just spend all day sitting on the floor with my art supplies spread out around me.

This is for Hannah's blog header.

But gray days on their own, when they're just.... gray. Ugh I do not like them.

Sometimes I just listen to musicals and marvel at the way the music makes me feel.

I don't know why I haven't attempted drawing baseball shirts before. They're like... my favorite shirts ever. Their shape is good, and the way they fit is really flattering.... and just.... shoulders. I really like the way they make shoulders look, it's a good look. Rawr.

Here, prime example of the epicness of baseball shirts.

And then once I started on the baseball shirts I realized: Tristan wears baseball shirts under his jacket, because baseball shirts and Tristan's shoulders would be a perfect pair.

And then I realized I should do a more in depth character sketch for the poor sad potato that is Tristan Ross. So here we have the first draft of his sketch, and oh yes, it needs work, but can we talk about his shoulders?

Lately, I've just been like, "I WANT A BABY, OKAY? OKAY!" I just want one! ...Or like.. I dunno. Ten. Twelve. I'd like a small army of babies, thank you very much.

Those people who are like, "I want a million dollars and a pony," they're wrong. I want a million dollars and a baby, and I will be most content.

rawr to the baseball shirt

Sometime soonish I should do a lifey updatey post for you all, because it's been a while, and you seem to like those.

Question time! (Because I like to know stuff...)

*Overall favorite drawing?
*Favorite black and white?
*Do you agree with my baseball shirt assessment?
*Do you have a quote about October that I haven't heard?

Okey dokey, I'm out of here.

Happy October, fools.

Finish, sum up, conclude.

Wow, so like....

It's 2015.

It just hit me.... last night.... around 12pm.... that it's 2015. What? Why? What the freak happened to that fabulous thing called Time?

Anyway, so, I kind of have a tradition where I do this tag at the end of every year. I just think it's a good way to sum up the last twelve months, and it's nice to have something that I do every year, you know?
