So as you might have suspected, this dorky potato took a bit of a blogging break, because A.) she was really busy, and B.) she was blocked on everything from drawing to blogging to existing.*
*It was a trying time.
But I think the blocks have mostly gone, and I'm trying to work blogging back in, because I LIKE blogging and I miss it when I don't.
If all goes well we might even have a Picture Saturday!*

I do apologize for this lack of everything, and I'll try to be better.
So! Here's what happened in my life:
1.) I finished Lockwood & Co and became rather sad, because after reading Lockwood & Co, I only wanted to read about Lockwood and Lucy and George. And since book 3 isn't out yet, I had to make do with the final Percy Jackson book.
2.) Speaking of which, I hated the last Percy Jackson book. I will never read it again. It was terrible, and I'm mad! I might have to do a post on it, because after finishing the series, I don't think I can publicly recommend Percy Jackson anymore.
3.) On a happy note, I'm twenty now! And my cousin came up for a visit, and it was just a really awesome birthday. (Last year's might have sucked a little.)
Art supplies, and a freaking baseball glove (!!!), and a bullet-knife (looks like a bullet, but it's a knife.) and a $25 dollar gift certificate to B&N. Chocolate! Life is good, people. Life is GOOD.
I have a new tote bag. I use it way too much.
Also, I have a Supernatural Clue Game. I HAVE A SUPERNATURAL CLUE GAME. (be jealous, Cait.) The people in my life know me way too well. I'm gonna swap out Cas's character for John, but yeah. Good game, quite fun.
4.) Bella and I helped Amy film the video for the song she sang.
It was raining quite hard the whole time, but I got this really awesome picture of the rainbow.
I did absolutely nothing to this picture and it's beautiful, and I think it looks like a freaking fairytale.
6.) My solo for voice class went really well, I think, and if you want, you can watch it here. I was happy with it, but it sounded better live. lol.
7.) I'm re-reading the whole Penderwicks series because they're clean, they're fun, and they remind me of my family. (And because I just read the last book, cried many copious tears over it, and decided a re-read was in order.) I'm working on characters sketches of the people in the book, which also consists of pulling my hair out because I care a lot about these characters and it's hard for me to draw what I care about.
8.) We FINALLY have a frozen yogurt place in town and I can die happy now.
9.) Happy 4th of July, by the way, to all my American followers! *distant cheering from Americans. Fireworks. Explosions. So patriotic. Distant groaning from everyone else.*
I love the 4th of July, it's always such a nice day, and I always feel the need to sing The Star Spangled Banner at the top of my voice. "AND THE ROCKET'S RED GLARE! THE BOMBS BURSTING IN AIR! GAVE PROOF THROUGH THE NIGHT, THAT OUR FLAG WAS STILL THERE!" I mean, maybe it's just me, but I think it's a more invigorating song than most national anthems.*

Toink may have sat in a puddle. She might have then asked me to document it.
It rained all day on the 4th. Our back road was a giant puddle, and we almost cancelled s'more making. (But we didn't, and Chloe was so happy.)
It was a good day despite that, and we made fun of the rain. Because when you say, "Toink, make a mad face!" she does and it's adorable.
10.) Who else is gonna go watch the Minion movie in theaters? Because I am. Because minion. movie.
11.) Now I shall finish reading Lark before I have to go to work. (Seriously, James is one of the single most attractive guys in bookish history.)

How are you all?! I've been a horrible blogger.... can I hear an AMEN?
I am sorry.
I have had an attack of the busies, which consequently has resulted in a case of the lazies, and a lack of the energies.
In other words, I've have been a couch potato, who sits there and eats her troubles away.
(LIES. Eating does not make the troubles go away. It temporarily relieves stress, but leaves you feeling sad and fat.)
But anyway. Yeah. I need to figure out how to work blogging into this new adult life that I'm taking a really long time to adjust to.
On an upside, I've got drawings to share on this coming Picture Saturday, my uncle is coming out to visit this weekend, and I've been able to hang out at the car repair shop! (That's really fun for me, because I used to babysit for our mechanic, and he's like my adopted uncle, and he's just fun to be around.)
So now, we can have an update on my life. (HA! What life?!)
1.) Because I now am in possession of money, I have come to the conclusion that I have a slight fetish with Starbucks and other coffee shops. Seriously, they're the bomb.
2.) I also have a harder time not buying stuff... especially when I'm in the art section of Michaels or something. I drool over drawing books, and Prisma Color Pencils. I caress the sketch books, and stroke kneaded eraser packages. CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW AMAZING CRAFT STORES SMELL!? They smell like happiness and creativity.
3.) I watched God's Not Dead recently.
Hee. Yeah, okay.... I kind of loved it a lot.
I mean, sure... I wish they had focused more on the two main characters having their discussions. As it was I felt like they forced too many stories into the same movie and it would have been more epic if we had dealt with The Antagonistic Atheist Professor VS. The Cute Christian Student, and less of the All The People Suddenly Converting.
But I really loved the:

thing that two of the characters kept saying back and forth to each other.
4.) God's Not Dead really put me in the mood to watch Fireproof again.
Men, take heed.
5.) I may or may not have bought myself the first series of Doctor Who. Because I am a geek, and it was like $15 dollars at Walmart.

6.) I came this close to buying the first season of Supernatural at said Walmart. But it was slightly out of my price range. I'm hinting for Christmas. Hint. Hint.
7.) It's starting to feel like Autumn here. It makes me very sad. Very sad indeed, that summer is almost over. I love going barefoot and not being freezing. (My winter clothes are really cute though, so I am looking forward to lugging those out of the closet.)

10.) We watched the first season of Crossing Lines.
And oh... It's one of my favorite shows. It's about a team of people who take on crimes that are committed in more than one country, and.... hot diggety dawg, it's good! I'll need to review what I've seen of it soon. (season two is either airing or just aired, and we can't find it anywhere.)
But yeah... Tommy? Tommy is aaawwesome.

Gurrrl, I have so many, it's not even funny. But right now, the one that comes to mind the most is when I'm driving the speed limit and someone is tailgating. It's like, "DUDE. BACK YOURSELF UP, OR I WILL FULL ON DRIVE TEN MILES UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT."

I'm going to go with books and say the Thirteenth Child trilogy was tubular.
3) Are you a subtle fan-girl or more of a loud excited fangirl like me? It really depends on who I'm with. If I'm with people who are subtle fangirls, I fangirl subtly and with maturity. If I'm with Bella, I'm more of a ASDFLKJSFLKJASDFOSDK *dies*
4) Hamburgers or Hot dogs? Hamburgers! (do you have any idea what's IN hot dogs!? Ewww.)

I've never gone dancing... ever. I don't know how to dance. But when I'm alone, and I know no one can see me and judge...
