Picture Sunday-- Feb {1}

Wherein Treskie is hands-down, the worst blogger.

I can't even remember for sure the last time I posted, I'm really sorry!

It's been a crazy sort of couple of months, and as soon as I can, I'll get back into a proper posting schedule, but until then, I'm going to ask you guys to bear with me, and don't leeeeave!

So! What's going on with me?

*Valentine's Week was crazy busy. Valentine's Day was super long, but ended with a really nice phone call.
*We went shooting today.
*I am in a perpetual state of exhaustion
*My sister is due at the beginning of April and I'm going to be the Godmother. BOOYAH.

And that's the primary information on my life right now. *bows*

One of these days I will magically have time and motivation to blog a lot again.

But today is not this day. THIS DAY I--- am going to bed early.

Treskie has a tired.

YOU GUYS WANT TO SEE SOME ART?

Too bad, you're going to see some anyway. *le grin*

1.) Once upon a time, the end.

2.) Sometimes I use blue ballpoint pen and it turns out about as bad as you'd expect.

3.) And other times, it's actually okay! *Happy Treskie noises*

4.) We listened to Phantom the other night, so... sad Phantom sketch, because... Sad Phantom is sad.

5.) I SAW THE CUTEST FIRST DANCE ON YOUTUBE! And I had to draw a dance after that.

6.) So, remember the snowball fight from last week? I finished it and it ended kinda super cute.

*Is awkward* I'm not sure about it, I think I did okay... I need to work on freaking comic-type things now.

Anyway, ladies, gents, and robots,

I shall love you and leave you for Les Miserables and bed.

Question Time!
Favorite overall?
Best black and white?
Favorite on toned paper?
How was your Valentine's Day?

I love you all!
Treskie out.

Picture Sunday|| December {1}

Wherein Treskie can't have nice things, because she's ruddy awful blogger.

Like, hi, guys, I'm not dead!

*Facepalm*

By the way it's December.

What? WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN? HOW? WHAT? IT WAS NOVEMBER 1ST LIKE A WEEK AGO??

Anyway, happy December, everyone!

You want to see some pictures? Sorry, there aren't a lot this week, despite me vanishing for over two weeks. I've been super busy, super tired, super freaking distracted.

1.) Sometimes I find quotes on pinterest that make me go 'awwwwwww.'

2.) Sometimes I listen to music and draw the lyrics in totally unreadable ways.

3.) I'm not sure how I feel about sunflowers, but I like this a lot.

4.) SO LOOK AT THIS CUTE PICTURE OF KATE DOING CUTE THINGS WITH TRISTAN.

5.) And then I draw a version of this almost every year, using different song lyrics, but can we just talk about how rarely people depict Mary cuddling Baby Jesus?

GUYS, YOU REALIZE CHRISTMAS IS IN LIKE THREE WEEKS?

GUYS, CHRISTMAS IS IN LIKE THREE WEEKS!!!

I'm so excited!

And I want to make Christmas rings, and Christmas cards, and set up my tree, and decorate, and sing, and listen to Christmas music, and I'm just....

Haha, anyway. I'm going to call it a night.
Hopefully I shall be more artful next week.

Question time!
Best overall?
Favorite quote?
Best on toned paper?
What's your favorite Christmas song?

I love you all!

Picture Saturday-- April.2

Oh you guys...!

I just discovered toned paper.... AND.... IT IS THE MOST  GLORIOUS OF ALL THE INVENTIONS.

It is golden. It is wonderful.

Toned paper is life.

So this week's drawings are predominately on toned paper, because TONED PAPER IS LIFE.

1.) First of all, here: I drew a dance, because even though I dance with the agility of a hammer, I really like it.

2.) More dance.... *Whistles forties music*

3.) All dis hair.

4.) Toned paper.......!!

5.) TONED PAPER.....!

6.) BROWN TONED PAPER. (This was actually my first attempt, but whatever, she looks like the girl from the Hillywood Show.)

7.) GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY.

8.) I freaking love this stuff, it is amazing.

9.) It thrills me. So it had to be paired with someone who thrills me, and so... Gianluca.

10.) Also, Piero.

11.) I don't even know, guys. Toned paper has a way of making even just average art look good. And it's really really addictive....

Yeah.... I'm not a weirdo at all.

There are burnt cookies in the oven, and we just finished watching the third Ip Man movie and I'm on a little bit of a high, because seriously.... Ip Man is SO GOOD. All three of the movies! So good, so martial arty, so... deliciously violent.

What? Sometimes you just need a little violence in your life.

Ehm. It's awesome.

Anyway, question time!
Favorite overall?
Favorite toned paper?
Favorite colored?
Have you seen Ip Man?
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY TONED PAPER?

Alrighty all! I love you guys!

Picture Saturday-- April

Saying goodbye to people that you don't get to see that often is really hard.

*Angry Treskie noises*

You guys want a life update post this week?

I'm actually back now, I'm not just popping in to say hai only to disappear for another three weeks. Wooo!

*Le sigh*

Let's get going on the first Picture Saturday since... eeeeee, the beginning of March? Wow, I didn't realize it had been that long.

Unfortunately there's not a lot to actually post, because most of last month was taken up with a super-secret art project I was working on for my brother's wedding. And since I only finished it about the same time I got back from Montana (like two days before the wedding), taking pictures of it totally didn't cross my mind, so I'll have to ask Joe for it back before I can show you guys what it was. I was very proud of it. Ehem.

Right, bragging's over now.

1.) Usually if I'm drawing, my mood comes out in my art. So angrily sketching faces results in... angry face sketches....

2.) Finished Agent Carter s2, and commenced the fanart because.... That finale...! (Yeah, I know, I really need to start using reference pictures when I fanart because the people don't really look like they're supposed to...)

3.) Not wild about his face because it doesn't look like him, but daaaaaang those shoulders....

4.) The super-uber quick one that I did while waiting for my private lesson...

5.) KAY I NEED TO COLOR THIS ONE BECAUSE REASONS.

6.) The I-have-no-idea-what-I'm-doing...

7.) Let your hair flow freeee!

8.) The one that I liked until I looked at it again and now I'm thinking her head is a little... misplaced.
Also, I really wish my sketchbook was a little bit smaller, because it's too big for the scanner and hence, I get funky dark splotches on my scans and it's really irritating.

9.) The art that turned out so well it doesn't even look like my art.

10.) The one that Tyler Ward noticed...WHICH WOULD HAVE TURNED OUT A LOT BETTER IF I'D HAD MORE TIME.

No, but seriously Tyler Ward saw it and it made my daaaaaaay.

11.) Here, have a really terrible pianist sketch... that I actually like and I don't know why.

12.) And finally, have the girl who emotes sadness, because I drew her this afternoon.

Alrighty, everyone, thanks for sticking around when I ditched you!

Question time!

Favorite overall?
Favorite black and white?
Have you seen s2 of Agent Carter?
Do you ever think your art is good, until you look at it again and decide, "Eeeh, no?"
Did you miss me?

Love ya!
