1.) Picture Saturday hasn't showed up in a while, has it? That's because A.) I've been busy, and drawing takes time, and B.) The drawings I have been doing, I can't show you because they're going into Jack's book. Hehe!
I'm actually working on a really cool one right now, that I was trying to finish today for picture saturday, but that obviously didn't happen.
But, here. I can show you the doodley sketch it's based off.
2.) I've been looking for jobs in town and it stinks so much. I'm not going to lie, it terrifies the crud out of me. So then I come home and feel the need to browse pinterest for an hour to recover from this horrific experience.
3.) I think when I get a job (note the 'when') I must buy myself a cute pair of boots as a celebration. Something like these.
4.) I wish I didn't get so attached to fictional characters. They become very real to me and I find myself loving them and wanting them to be happy, and when they aren't, I cry.
And just as we finish one heartbreaking show, we find another. And do we think about what this new show will do to our mental state? NO! We're just like:
While our mothers and friends are like:
And then we watch it. And we're like.
Yeah. Sorry. I had to vent.
5.) I made my daddy a Star Trek shirt for his birthday. It looked awesome. He loves it and he actually wore it, so I was happy.
I really must do a nice post soon, but until then, here's a picture of Jensen Ackles holding a toy zebra.
Cheers, y'all!

I mean think about it. We geeks? We're silly! It's a freaking TV show for crying out loud.

Gif for feels: Incredibly accurate.
ReplyDeletePhoto of boots: incredibly awesome.
And... I can't wait to see your illustrations in Jack's book!!
I thought so. lol. :)
DeleteI know, those boots are like... perfection! I want them such much.
Really? Awww.
I am with you on number 2. I am happy indoors too. ;D
ReplyDeleteWhat about printing out pictures of your fave fictional characters to put on your wallet and carry with you when you go out? Mybe that will help you feel at least a little comfortable being outside and looking for a job. I don't know, worth a try, I guess.
Later! ❤
Indoors is safe. Outdoors requires socializing which is not.
DeleteOh, I've done that. I've got all my favorite brave characters in my wallet. lol... It helps a little but I still cry a lot.
oxo
Sorry. i know the feeling. It's scary out there.
DeleteExactly. To quote Monk, "It's a jungle out there...."
DeleteGood way to explain it.
DeleteGif *snicker*...gif, *snicker*....Poor Peskie. You have so many feels right now, don't you? :) *In Gimili voice: "We warned you!"* lol.
ReplyDeleteI liked you doodle. It was very cool. It had a lot of atmosphere.
Heeeeeeeee. The FEELS. The feels hurt me. lol. You did. I didn't care. lol.
DeleteThe doodle took like... two minutes. I am still rather proud of its adorbs.
i giggled through this whole post. ^_^ totally made my day.
ReplyDeletealso, i know *exactly* how you feel about job hunting, i've been going around my small town and doing the same thing. it's AWFUL. geez. :(
Dan!
oh my. xD
I was cracking myself up writing it. lol.
DeleteIt's really hard getting a job in a small town, ESPECIALLY our town because it's tourist driven. So... yeah. People are like, "We're not hiring" or "We only hire old people." (That actually happened, and I got the feeling they didn't trust kids who were under 40.) lol.
Hehe. Dan.
The outside world is even, I always feel like quoting Bilbo, "It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to." Oh, I'm definitely going to buy something like them. Because they're adorable and I crave their awesomeness.
ReplyDeleteThey are! I've actually been using yours as references when I'm drawing certain places, like the piloting deck... continuity, you know. lol.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOH what did you think?? Please, *please* don't get me started on Dean's voice. It's... awesome. Ahem. Moving on quickly....
Well.... I'll tell you, the only reason I'm watching them is because of the boys. I am devoted to Dean and Sam and I view them as family. lol. *I'd* say they're worth the feels, but they do get some EPIC feels... (last night my sister and I watched a season finale and it was like, every time Dean opened his mouth I was crying. lol.)
I'll also warn you that there are some *bad* episodes with *scenes* so if you do start PLEASE look up the individual episodes for content advisory.
TWO THINGS; 1. The boots<3 I WANT THEM ALL. hahahaa and 2. Your number four!!!!! YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES. FICTIONAL CHARACTERS ARE THE BEST AND WORST CHARACTERS. BEST: BECAUSE THEY ARE PERFECT IN EVERY WAY. WORST: BECAUSE THEY DON'T EXIST. Okay, done.
ReplyDeleteME too!!!!!!
DeleteMY FEELINGS EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!! lol.
Yes, THERE ARE PEOPLE OUTSIDE. So why take the risk and go out? You might stumble upon one. Scary. Very scary.
ReplyDeleteAnd yessss to the fandom feels. -_- ARGH. Why do we torment ourselves like so?!! (Because we secretly adore it...)
I know... shhhh... we must never leave our safe bubble.
DeleteI adore it so secretly, sometimes even *I* forget that I adore it. LOL. :) Since when do TV shows break my heart in half and crush my soul like a grape?
