Picture Saturday -- black and white.

BEFORE WE GET THIS PARTY STARTED, I HAVE SOMETHING TO SHOW YOU!!

Amy and I recorded a duet! It's my newest song obsession,* and you should all check it out.

 *thank you, Angela.

Here you go, I present Fight Song!

Yep that happened. The blooper reel for that is like way longer than the actual video.... We have a really hard time being serious when we're together.

Anyway, I was lazy this week.

I'm having trouble with the words putting into sentence doing.

I have no motivation.

It's kind of like... Draw... or be lazy? Draw or watch Avatar the Last Airbender?

*Ponder ponder ponder*

Avatar then.

So yeah, I don't have a whole lot this week. And I did not feel like coloring stuff in, hence the title.

1.) I want to draw Lark and James SO BADLY. But I can't. Bella said I should try to draw how they make me feel rather than how I imagine them. This made sense, so I gave it a shot.

But this is not, and never will be, James, and I so I tossed Bella's idea out the freaking window.

2.) I did not draw any more guitarists, BUT I'M GONNA. If all plans go well, the next Picture Saturday will be riddled with them. Until then, here have a sadly disproportionate falling person.

3.) We got some really good news last week, and I was super happy about it. Apparently when I'm happy, I draw happy couples.

4.) And vice versa when I'm not happy, I draw dead couples.

(They are both depressingly stiff, and what is he doing... is he biting his bottom lip? What even.)

5.) I'm drawing Phantom paper dolls for a friend of mine, which means I have to relisten to Phantom of the Opera. YOU THOUGHT YOU OBSESSION WAS PETERING OUT. YOU WERE WRONG.

6.) When I'm happy, I just draw couples. And unfortunately, it is really fun to draw kisses. Yes, I'm a giant sap.

7.) I JUST LIKE DRAWING KISSING PEOPLE, BECAUSE I FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW, AND I'M JUST LIKE "AAAAAAAAAAGH! ALL THE ROMANCE MUST BE DRAWN!"

Don't you judge me.

Anyway... yeah. Amy and Kit and Sammi are all at Front Sight, and I am not, and I'm sad and lonely. Maybe I'll draw some more sad broken couples.

OKAY now I'm getting weird.

I love you all! Let me know what you thought of the song!

Which drawing is your most favoritest?
Too much kissing? (yeah, prolly.)
Have you watched Avatar?

Okay, Treskie out.

Kay bai.

Treskie's blogging, and it's the 8th Wonder of the World.

MINIONS!!!!

Hello!

So as you might have suspected, this dorky potato took a bit of a blogging break, because A.) she was really busy, and B.) she was blocked on everything from drawing to blogging to existing.*

*It was a trying time.

But I think the blocks have mostly gone, and I'm trying to work blogging back in, because I LIKE blogging and I miss it when I don't.

If all goes well we might even have a Picture Saturday!*

*maybe

I do apologize for this lack of everything, and I'll try to be better.

So! Here's what happened in my life:

1.) I finished Lockwood & Co and became rather sad, because after reading Lockwood & Co, I only wanted to read about Lockwood and Lucy and George. And since book 3 isn't out yet, I had to make do with the final Percy Jackson book.

2.) Speaking of which, I hated the last Percy Jackson book. I will never read it again. It was terrible, and I'm mad! I might have to do a post on it, because after finishing the series, I don't think I can publicly recommend Percy Jackson anymore.

3.) On a happy note, I'm twenty now! And my cousin came up for a visit, and it was just a really awesome birthday. (Last year's might have sucked a little.)

Art supplies, and a freaking baseball glove (!!!), and a bullet-knife (looks like a bullet, but it's a knife.) and a $25 dollar gift certificate to B&N. Chocolate! Life is good, people. Life is GOOD.

I have a new tote bag. I use it way too much.

Also, I have a Supernatural Clue Game. I HAVE A SUPERNATURAL CLUE GAME. (be jealous, Cait.) The people in my life know me way too well. I'm gonna swap out Cas's character for John, but yeah. Good game, quite fun.

4.) Bella and I helped Amy film the video for the song she sang.

It was raining quite hard the whole time, but I got this really awesome picture of the rainbow.

I did absolutely nothing to this picture and it's beautiful, and I think it looks like a freaking fairytale.

6.) My solo for voice class went really well, I think, and if you want, you can watch it here. I was happy with it, but it sounded better live. lol.

7.) I'm re-reading the whole Penderwicks series because they're clean, they're fun, and they remind me of my family. (And because I just read the last book, cried many copious tears over it, and decided a re-read was in order.) I'm working on characters sketches of the people in the book, which also consists of pulling my hair out because I care a lot about these characters and it's hard for me to draw what I care about.

8.) We FINALLY have a frozen yogurt place in town and I can die happy now.

9.) Happy 4th of July, by the way, to all my American followers! *distant cheering from Americans. Fireworks. Explosions. So patriotic. Distant groaning from everyone else.*

I love the 4th of July, it's always such a nice day, and I always feel the need to sing The Star Spangled Banner at the top of my voice. "AND THE ROCKET'S RED GLARE! THE BOMBS BURSTING IN AIR! GAVE PROOF THROUGH THE NIGHT, THAT OUR FLAG WAS STILL THERE!" I mean, maybe it's just me, but I think it's a more invigorating song than most national anthems.*

*shots fired

Toink may have sat in a puddle. She might have then asked me to document it.

It rained all day on the 4th. Our back road was a giant puddle, and we almost cancelled s'more making. (But we didn't, and Chloe was so happy.)

It was a good day despite that, and we made fun of the rain. Because when you say, "Toink, make a mad face!" she does and it's adorable.

10.) Who else is gonna go watch the Minion movie in theaters? Because I am. Because minion. movie.

11.) Now I shall finish reading Lark before I have to go to work. (Seriously, James is one of the single most attractive guys in bookish history.)

Cheers, bai, and God bless!

Treskie out.

Picture Saturday- I can't stop drawing Phantom

The problem is, I keep refueling the obsession.

I think it was actually starting to wear off, and then we decided to watch it again. (Not the 25th, no, we have another version, where we know the guy who played the phantom and it's very sad.)

Anyway, so we watched it, and I'm back to the lalalalala-POTO-is-life, and it's actually getting a bit worrisome.

Not really, I mean, I spammed with Brothers In Arms fanart last year, and that ended eventually. (Cait, I will get you your SPN Fanart soon, I swear!)

I couldn't really draw this week because I had a sense of impending doom hanging over my head, and I can't draw when I'm stressed out. (The sense of doom was caused by a jury summons, which I did not end up having to attend, Deo Gratias.) So instead of being productive, I binge watched some TV shows and decided to partake of the Supernatural Rewatch.

Anyway, I think I shall do a life-updatey post next week. (Because my life is just so freaking exciting!)*

*I'm joking. My life is beyond boring, and I like it that way.

Right so!

1.) Candence asked me to draw her blog's sidebar image, so... She gave me some ideas for what she wanted, and I basically went nuts.

2.) So many ideas came pouring in...

3.) Mmmmm yass.

4.) This one did not turn out so well but whatever...

Using just a tiny bit of color may very well be my new favorite thing, you never know. What with not having jury duty, my mind is full of drawings now.

5.) If you guys get tired of Phantom Fanart let me know, and I'll post it to tumblr instead. Or I'll break it up. Or something. But let me know!

Here is the colored version of the Think of Me I did last time. I like it better colored, it makes me really happy.

6.) And here we have two of the same picture. One before I colored it, and one after. I like both, and I like the way the pencil sketch looks refined and rough at the same time. YEAH!

7.) The girl I started and didn't finish because it was like 10pm and I wanted bed.

8.) Another before and after look at a phantom art.... I was experimenting with expressions....

Angry Raoul Teeth...

9.) Annnnd finally, we have the completed one from last time. I really like adding red to the phantom pictures. Don't ask, I couldn't say why. BUT LOOK AT THEIR EXPRESSIONS! They have nice faces, and I liked the whole look of Christine and Raoul, and the Phantom's face makes me really happy, because he's disfigured and it's awesome.

Okay! So! Question time:

Favorite drawing? (pick one. Or two. But no more than that lol.)
Tired of Phantom?
Do you like the minimal color ones?
Do you need a blog header drawn?

Mkay, now I go.

Treskie out.

It was like:

Le me, "AW YEAH GEEK TAG! I'm a geek, this should be easy!!"

Le me, *Reads questions....*

Le me:

Le me, *keeps reading*

Le me, "I"m seriously beginning to doubt my geekiness."

BUT I FINISHED, and I got most of them, and so!

And with that, I shall wish you all a very happy Geek Pride Day, (and Memorial Day.)

Treskie out.
