Wow. 

I should never be allowed to go this long without posting. 

You know how freaking long it takes to edit pictures?

Such long times. 

*Treskie blinks blearily at you*

There's a truly absurd amount of art this week, so buckle down, maybe grab a cup of coffee or something, and prepare for this week's gallery. (Hysterically narrated by a very tired and sarcastic Treskie.)

1.) I like to call this one "I-just-got-new-markers-and-pink-hair-seems-like-the-thing-to-do."

2.) The "Ooh those colors go well together!"

3.) Person: Why are you fanarting yourself?

Me: I must.*

*no that's not me, what are you talking about?

4.) Spring apparently makes me like yellows.

5.) It also makes me go, "You know what's cool? Fairies."

6.) Seriously. Fairies.

7.) *Breathes heavily*

(This one isn't finished, but I like the sketch soooo.)

8.) UGH HOW DO YOU DRAW FACES?

9.) So my sis-in-law asked me to draw a thing for her and Joe's anniversary. 

This was the rough draft that turned out amazingly-- until my pen blotted all over Flynn's freaking face when I was coloring it.

10.) And this was the replacement. I'm quite proud of these, actually lol.

11.) This truly embarrassing one of Tristan. Like, "DUDE LOOSEN UP! WHY SO STIFF AND STUPID LOOKING?" *Flips table over* "WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE A BLOND ASIAN?"

12.)  Angry Tristan is angry.

13.) As much of a tomboy Kate is, she's still the kind of person who likes to make sure she looks like she tried somewhat. So here's a picture of her doing her hair and probably thinking about Tristan, because girls are stupid.

14.) Flash forward to the first time she had to kill someone and it broke her a little.

15.) Me: I really don't need to draw another couple ever. 

Brain: ......

Me: ..........

Brain: You gotta.
Me: Yes, master.

16.) This one happened after a certain person (you know who you are) thought I couldn't put up a fight. Oh yeah? Oh yeah? lol.

17.) OKAY SO THE WAY HER DRESS CHANGES FROM YELLOW TO RED MAKES ME SO FREAKISHLY HAPPY, LIKE YASSSS! I DONE GOOD.

18.) And finally! (Forget drumrolls, can I get thunderous applause?)

This one that has a funny story behind it, but all I'm gonna say about it, is that he went in for a kiss and she was like, "Nope. Not today."

I'm thinking I'm gonna do a lifey post again soon. I haven't done one of those in a long time, and I think it's kind of important for my readers (AKA yooou) to feel like you know me a little more than just as that sarcastic typist throwing art at you and hoping you'll like it.

Picture Saturday || March {1}

Hey, it's only been two weeks this time!

Treskie is very proud. 

Not a whole lot this week, but man, it's blasting with color, so that's pretty awesome!

Can you believe it's already Lent? *Shakes head in disbelief* I remember being little and thinking how long it took for a whole year to go by. And now? (Now, that I'm soo old..) I feel like I just got back from Montana, but that will have been a year ago at the end of this month. 

Time is passing like crazy, and I'm falling behind trying to keep up. Uuuugh. 

Why yes, it's been a rough week, why do you ask?

Anyway!

PREPARE!

1.) I don't draw blonde hair very often, so here you go. (Do you see the sparkles on her dress? DO YOU?)

2.) This is the one I drew when I was sad and feeling vaguely betrayed. Can you tell? The grey background is a bit much, isn't it...

3.) This horrific one that I'm like... "I HAD SUCH GLORIOUS VISIONS FOR YOU, WHAT WENT WRONG?!" *Scowling Treskie noises*

4.) This sketch that I liked much better in my mind than on paper. 

5.) Look at this cute Steampunk girl inspired by this picture. (Because my favorite person sent it to me as an inspiration and I went, "OoooOOOOooooh.")

6.) Also this sassy gun-totin' girl, who's totally awesome even though I drew her super late and didn't actually care.

7.) Wherein Treskie discovered the universe...

8.) And then proceeded to go nuts...

Haha, so there you go! I suspect universes are going to be a big thing for me for a while, which is good I guess. It's really fun blending all the colors together.

Picture Saturday || July {2}

I have listened to like six musicals today.

My brain is filled to bursting with ideas for fanart. Like, I have to draw the Pirate King, and I have to draw "With Catlike Tread," and I have to draw Monty waving his saw around in "Poison in my Pocket," and I have to draw some stuff from Light in the Piazza, and I have to draw more Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, because that was a big request from last week... (I didn't get to it, I will next time.)

Also, I need to draw "Storybook" from The Scarlet Pimpernel because I relate to that song on a spiritual level.

I can hear the coffee percolating, and I'm so excited to drink it.

Because... coffee.


So there isn't a lot of color this week... I don't really have a reason, I just didn't feel colorful.

1.) I'm trying to work on different face angles since I'm trying to hone my skillz. I am not good a different face angles.

2.) "Does this pose make me look stiff?" 

     "Yar."

3.) This one I did as a warmup today, but I want to redo it, because that line is hilarious and needs to be drawn properly. (It's from Pirates of Penzance, in case you didn't know.)

However, her pointing hand is on point. Ehehe. See what I did there? SEE IT?

4.) "Does it look weird?"
     "Yes."

     "I'll just shade it some more, no one will notice."

5.) A couple weeks ago, someone asked me to draw ballerinas, and I said I would. And then I didn't. BUT I DID NOW, SO YOU'RE WELCOME. 

Her arm is bent and not just ridiculously short, I promise.

6.) Ballerinas are really frikken hard. Abort! HIDE HER IN A GIANT SKIRT.

7.) I started on a really rough draft for some Pirates of Penzance fanart, because I want to illustrate that bit where all the sisters are like, 

"Let us compromise, 

our hearts are not of leather. 

Let us shut our eyes! 

And talk about the weather

But there's a lot of people in the scene and I got lazy, so I sketched it and took a break. If I finish, it will be spectacular. 

8.) And after I got bored, I drew Mabel and Frederic after they realize that he's only five... and a quarter.

9.) Because "Love to Me" is one of sweetest songs from Light in the Piazza. (It helps that Matthew Morrison sings it, because Matthew Morrison.) 

I'm irritated about the super dark lines in her hair. Ugh.

10.) Here, enjoy some characters for a book I'm supposed to illustrate. I need to go check out a bunch of Dr. Suess books, because that's kind of the format the author was hoping to have. 

11.) So I had this idea for Tristan and Gang, like they have to break in somewhere, and they need a plan, so they're having a meeting in the kitchen for it. And after throwing around some ideas, Max finally is like, "WE SHOULD GO UNDERCOVER."

12.) And there's this silence while everyone processes this, and then Kate breaks the ice by snickering. 

13.) Tyler is offended by the very idea. 

14.) And Tristan is just like, "Bro."

Yeah, I know it's silly, but I'm quite fond of those stupid characters so... I figured I'd share that brilliant plot line. 

I uploaded my solos from singing class to youtube, so if you guys want me to, let me know, and I can post them here. 

ALSO Amy and I covered Sad Beautiful Tragic and I'm quite pleased with it. So here, WATCH DIS.
(And if you want to, you could tell Jade++ to leave us alone, because she has systematically commented nastily on every single video we've ever put up.)

Picture Saturday-- I forgot how to art

Apparently taking a big old art break was a mistake.

Because after I started feeling a little better, I picked up my new sketch book, and was like, "All right, I'm gonna ART."

And then I literally was like, "How do you art."

And then, "What is art."

And then, "How do you people."

*Headdesking commenced.*

So I apologize for the somewhat less than awesome stuff I'm gonna post tonight, I'm a little off my game.

It causes much sads .


1.) I experimented with the watercolor pencils I got for Christmas. I failed.

2.) Here, enjoy this dismal disaster. How do you get depth with watercolor. HOW?

3.) I don't remember how to art. 

4.) AAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

5.) I figured out that it's really hard to draw people with their hands on their head. Why is this hard? I DUNNO. It just is.

6.) I attempted to draw Cecy from Sorcery and Cecilia: Or the Enchanted Chocolate Pot, and just.... no.

7.) *Angry Treskie noises.*

8.) I've always imagined elves and fairies really tall and pointy.

9.) Here's a rough draft of something I'm doing for Cait's birthday cause.... birthday.

10.) The, "Hey this one didn't suck." He's hot, someone write his story.

11.) The proportions are all wrong, but I like the feel of it so, I'm just gonna leave it here. Mkay?

12.) The one who looks like he's about to start something on fire. I mean look at him.

13.) Tristan and gang, and I have come to an agreement. And we're on speaking terms, even though Max won't back down on doing The Thing..... I may have to rethink some things.... like... I might have to rethink who dies.... Things are gonna be tricky for a bit.

14.) I'M EMBARRASSED ABOUT THIS ONE SO HUSH. But I'm pretty sure Tristan's gonna go all Die Hard and go after the bad guys by himself. And then he's gonna get captured, and it's gonna suck. Mwuahahaha.
