Picture Saturday-- I forgot how to art

Apparently taking a big old art break was a mistake.

Because after I started feeling a little better, I picked up my new sketch book, and was like, "All right, I'm gonna ART."

And then I literally was like, "How do you art."

And then, "What is art."

And then, "How do you people."

*Headdesking commenced.*

So I apologize for the somewhat less than awesome stuff I'm gonna post tonight, I'm a little off my game.

It causes much sads .


1.) I experimented with the watercolor pencils I got for Christmas. I failed.

2.) Here, enjoy this dismal disaster. How do you get depth with watercolor. HOW?

3.) I don't remember how to art. 

4.) AAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

5.) I figured out that it's really hard to draw people with their hands on their head. Why is this hard? I DUNNO. It just is.

6.) I attempted to draw Cecy from Sorcery and Cecilia: Or the Enchanted Chocolate Pot, and just.... no.

7.) *Angry Treskie noises.*

8.) I've always imagined elves and fairies really tall and pointy.

9.) Here's a rough draft of something I'm doing for Cait's birthday cause.... birthday.

10.) The, "Hey this one didn't suck." He's hot, someone write his story.

11.) The proportions are all wrong, but I like the feel of it so, I'm just gonna leave it here. Mkay?

12.) The one who looks like he's about to start something on fire. I mean look at him.

Fiiiiiiiirrrreeeeeee.

13.) Tristan and gang, and I have come to an agreement. And we're on speaking terms, even though Max won't back down on doing The Thing..... I may have to rethink some things.... like... I might have to rethink who dies.... Things are gonna be tricky for a bit.

14.) I'M EMBARRASSED ABOUT THIS ONE SO HUSH. But I'm pretty sure Tristan's gonna go all Die Hard and go after the bad guys by himself. And then he's gonna get captured, and it's gonna suck. Mwuahahaha.

Anyway, these Picture Saturdays are getting more and more unprofessional... I'm distracted a little by my music.... *

In any case, it's been a long time since Picture Saturday, because drawing funk.

But whatever, here we go, I think the funk is over, which is nice, because when I don't draw I get sad.

1.) Soooooo..... here's the page of stuff I was working on when I decided to take a break.... because crap! Haha.

2.) Here's a elven warrior maid! (Drumroll for epic heroine.)

3.) NATHANIAL FROM BARTIMAEUS!!!!!!! Because Bartimaeus and and Nathanial!

4.) Random smiley girl!

5.) Penderwicks fanart because THERE IS NO FANART FOR THAT SERIES ANYWHERE, WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK. You'd think with a series that is that good, and that well written, there would be some sort of fanart. I had to remedy this grievous mistake.

So here we go, Batty from book 4.

6.)  Also, Skye from book 4.

7.) And then, since book four (Penderwicks in Spring) made me cry like a little baby, I decided, what the heck, I shall re-read the series. YOLO!

This brought on me drawing the girls.

8.) Skye. Who irritates me, but I like her. I think it's because she vaguely reminds me of me, if I was... you know. Outgoing.

9.) Jane, who is Bella. No really. She is Bella.

10.) And little baby Batty from book one. (Batty is the cutest.)

11.) There's this description in the book, where she describes it as someone's legs growing wings because Batty's hiding behind them, and it's adorable.

12.) And that scene where Skye loses it and yells at Mrs. Tifton? Gold.

I plan to color them all in sometime in the near future. :)

13.) Raoul and Christine are just meant to be!

This is the reason why I shouldn't read stuff or watch stuff, because then you people are inundated with my current obsessions.

It's a problem.

I would have posted the finished product of the SPN fanart, but I'm doing a border of quotes around the edge and someone wouldn't email me back for forever... *coughcaitcough*

Whatever, you'll see it next week! (It's so awesome, I can't even.)

Pretend it's Saturday.

Well, so much for my epic idea of posting more often. It's been a week. Again.

It has been a very long, very difficult, roller-coaster of a week, and I don't want to talk about it.

This post was supposed to be up on Saturday, but things were chaotic on Saturday.... and Sunday.... and I worked all day Monday. Today is the first time I've really been able to catch my breath.

So now we have more to share, because it's been a bit since I last posted, and I've been drawing rather a lot.

1.) Le Elven Queen. Am I the only one who thinks she looks a little bit like Amanda Seyfried?

Just me?

2.) Le boys from Jack's book. I actually kind of hate this picture. Something about it is off  and I can't put my finger on what. Just overall it did not turn out the way I envisioned and it bugs  me.

3.) Le sketch I did that reminded me a lot of my sister, so... here, Bella, that's for you.

4.) Le All Seeing Eyeball.

5.) Le girl that reminded me of Katniss. If Katniss was... happy.

6.) Le Franz from Brother's In Arms. (Yeah, you guessed it. Jack's book. Which I have read and you have not. Suckers.)

7.) LE ADORABLE HAPPY GIRL. I dunno. I just love her so much. I think she is adorable and cute and exuberant. I giggled when I drew her. She reminds me of a grown up Vanellope von Schweetz.

8.) Le Creepy Smiley Girl that I can't decide if I like or not. I like some about her. I don't know though. She's funny.

9.) More art for Brothers In Arms. (FYI, B.I.A. is not a romance. It is... a war story that.... it's a war story. Romance is not in it. At. All.)

10.) Le two minute sketch that I did when I was reminiscing about the ending scene from Mark of Athena. (Thus meaning, yeah, it's really rough, don't judge me.)
