So this.... Happened.

In my last post, I mentioned that a couple things happened last week that made me go, "Wow. I'm blessed, hawt dang!"

I didn't talk about them really because I didn't have pictures. But now I do! SO! I'mma tell you.

The first good thing that happened... Was actually a week and a half ago. But anyway, I ordered a bracelet and it didn't arrive when it was supposed to, (no big deal, misunderstanding. I was actually fine with it.) But when the package arrived, I opened it up, and besides the bracelet there was also this necklace with my name on it.

MY NAME WAS ON A NECKLACE AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT AND IT SORT OF MADE MY WEEK.

thanks, dear. :)

And then Kit, Amy, and I got lifetime Front Sight memberships for free. Those things cost a fortune usually, and because we know people we got them for free. It was so awesome! FRONT SIGHT.

All the happy!!!!

I'M GONNA SHOOT STUFF. WHOOOOOOOOOO!

Another epic thing was that we finally freaking got WIFI.

 FINALLY

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm not gonna lie, after the guy who figured out why it wasn't working left, I did a little dance of joy in our flat because... we haven't WiFi for a good, um... six months, and that's a long time, folks. So yeah, I can finally blog at my own place and the novelty of this makes me flail a little.

But hands down, the best thing that happened last week was the biggest shock.

Let me set it up for you, kay?

It was almost closing time at the flower shop, and Amy and I were the only ones there, getting ready to start locking doors and doing the cash out. I peered outside and I saw my brother's car pull in to the parking lot, followed like five seconds later by this lovely Land Rover Discovery, (Which.... as most of you know, are kind of my dream cars.)

So anyway, people pile out and Joe came in with Maria, and Kat, and Jess (who's cute). He hands Amy and I this little package, and inside are two sets of keys.

Yeah, you guessed it. My brother, (who is more awesome than your brother) bought us a Landy.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGH!

WE HAVE A LANDY. AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND SHINY AND.... OURS.

It was seriously the most unexpected and insane thing that's ever happened to me..... And it took me a little while to wrap my head around it. Just... still kind of speechless. How do you even go about being properly thankful for that?

Meet Jarvis.

Jarvis is beautiful.

Jarvis is fabulous, even when we have to put gas in it.

Jarvis is our precious!! AAAAAAH, I'm still just sort of having a hard time comprehending that he's ours.

So.. ehem. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Joey! Best surprise ever! You are the coolest and most awesome big brother ever, and... and....! Just yes. Love ya. :)

Did anything good happen to you guys lately, or am I alone in my happiness? Let me knoooow.

Cheers!

Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat.

Please put a penny in the old man's hat.
If you don't have a penny,
half a penny will do.
If you don't have a half a penny,
God bless you!

I don't know, don't. It just popped into my head.

Five Random Facts!

1.) It's Picture Saturday! And I've even got stuff for it! *snort* I've had this song stuck in my head all week, so... I had to get it out of my system somehow.

So I drew this before dinner.
That one middle verse makes me all teary.

I've taken to doing not-so-very-awesome fan art when I have time on my hands. It's not even art. It's more like fan-doodles, and I am a little awkward about them.

Special thanks to Bella for getting her blood jam in the corner.
Very nice indeed.
(click if you're wanting to read the words. Blogger's having issues tonight.)

2.) We watched The Desolation of Smaug with a friend last week. It was really, really good! Overall I really loved it. A couple things bothered me but that's to be understood. Mostly I was going:

BILBO! YOU'RE SO CUTE! AKSKSJA;JSAF
KILI AND FILI! I love you guys!
(They were like... the Winchesters of Middle Earth.)

Kili should not be so cute.

THORIN, YOU'RE MAGESTIC

BARD! Cooooooool.

And then boring things like, "What the heck is Tauriel doing there? Oh. She's just there to be a love interest.

Legolas was funny. He just cracked me up even when he was being serious. They did something funny to his eyes. They looked better in LOTR.

Lord of the Rings:

Le Hobbit
(note to make-up artist: Maybe.. less guy-liner next time.)

3.) We watched the Donny and Marie Christmas today... I find it to be very funny and kind of sweet. And okay. A little lame. But it's mostly funny and sweet!

4.) My family's basically the choir at church, so we're learning a new sung Mass for Christmas. The Gloria is a killer...  (yeah. We're still learning it. We work best under pressure. lol!)

5.) This is me. This is me so much.

Especially when it comes to my boyz. lol.
And Kili.

6.) CHRISTMAS IS IN FOUR DAYS YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!1
.... I'm not excited at all.

Cheers and God bless, and Merry Christmas!

I am so done with this challenge.

You guys.

You guys!

You GUYS!

Guess what! There's only three more days of this freaking challenge and then I'm done! Whaaaat!

*Happiness*

Anyway, yeah.

Day twenty-seven:
A song you wish you could play

I'm planning, once I have money, to take guitar classes at the college. Because it's a skill I'd really love to acquire, and it would be cool to sing and play guitar at the same time.

I have such  high ambitions.

*Shakes head*

Anyway, a song I wish I could play.... is.....

Changing Colors
By Josh Groban
Obviously

When the wind takes you, it takes me too.
And when you change colours, I'll change mine too.
Try not to think, and I will try too
And when you let go, I will let go too

I listen to this song and get all like, "Jooooooooooooooshhhhhhhhhhhh. You have the best lyyyyyriiiiiiiiicssssss. Why are you so aaaawwwweeeeeeessssooooooooooomeeeeeeeeee?"

I watched The Magic of Ordinary Days today.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaang. That movie is freaking awesome! And adorable! Askfjdalasfj;akdfjaf.

THAT GUY IS THE SWEETEST MOVIE CHARACTER I HAVE EVER SEEN. FOR REAL.

Watch it. It's super clean and so sweet. Gah. So much love.

You guys, I cannot wait for this challenge to be over. I'm pretty sure it shows because my posts are getting more and more random, and shorter by the day. lol.

I'm going to go save the world now.

And now I'm going to semi-quote the Three Amigos.

"Wherever there is injustice, you will find me.
Wherever there is suffering, I'll be there.
Wherever liberty is threatened you will find....
The extremely strange bloggerrrrrrrrrr!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to shoot in the Invisible Horseman.

Goodbye.

In which resides a great deal of questions and answers.

The lovely Kellie is hosting a blog part for..... people who are feeling uninspired in the ways of blogging, and seeing as I have been feeling as such, have decided to join.

This ought to be jolly!!!!!!!

Gray Days to Glimmering Blog Party

1) What's your favorite thing to do when you've been feeling uninspired?
Oh this and that. Usually it helps to take a walk, read a few brilliant books, or watch a movie. I don't know... I guess watching/reading other people's awesomeness tends to get my creative juices flowing.

2) Tell us about a really great movie/show that you've just discovered.
Hmm, let me think. Rise of the Guardians and The Hobbit were incredible. SO much love, people! But lately we've been re-watching Doctor Who and even more recently, watching Leverage again.

Leverage is freaking awesome. It's kind of like a mashup of Robin Hood and Ocean's Eleven..... It's usually very clean.

But mostly, it's awesome because of this guy: Eliot Spencer. He's a fighter, and a musician, and a cook.... what's not to love?

3) What do you like to do to change your mood?
I read and pinterest a lot. *Grins unabashedly.*

4) Your favorite drink is currently...
Oh... you know. COOOFFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! And TEA!

5) When you hear the word exuberant, what's the first word that comes to mind?
     Amy. Don't ask why.
     And my niece, Sammie.
     And Daisy. Our beagle.

6) What made you smile last?
     Eliot Spencer.

7) What five songs would make a playlist to describe your week?
     Uhhmmm.
     1.) Brave- Josh Groban
2.) The Rose- Andre Rieue (My sisters and I learned it in harmony like that. We sound that good. *cough* I wish. I hope. I think we could be. :) Okay. I'm just going to stop now. LOL.
3.) Safe and Sound- Taylor Swift.
4.) Lover of the Light- Mumford and Sons
5.) I Will Wait- Mumford and Sons.

8) What's at the top of your creative 'To-Do' list?
Drawing Percy Jackson. (He's pretty awesome) Just drawing more in general. And possibly make a Doctor Who themed doll set.

9) The last thing you crossed off the above list was...
I drew my character for the letter game.

10) Quickly - the first movie quote from the top of your head, please!
      "Who are you?"
      "No one of consequence."
      "I must know."
      "Get used to disappointment."
      *nods* "Okay."
From the Princess Bride. (But seriously, if you didn't know that..... if you didn't know that. Just go rent it. Now.

11) The best thing about January is...
      Eh.....

12) The worst thing about January is...
The cold. The snow. The end.

13) What's your #1 resolution for 2013?
      I didn't really make resolutions. I don't know... be braver, I guess?

14) And lastly, share a quote or verse that you've found especially inspiring lately.

PREcisely.

And now I must awa' and write about Rose and Chris. (for some reason, watching Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, really put me in a writing mood.)

Cheers, people!
