But I'm posting anyway.

I woke up with a start a few days ago and proceeded to facepalm in dismay.

Because, holy heck no, I haven't posted in like two months.

I'm appalled at myself.

I'm sorry, guys. It's been a weird couple of weeks. And I haven't drawn hardly at all, I haven't had the energy.

That being said, I will try to be better, but I make no promises, because I just don't know if I can keep them.

I very much apologize for being gone so long. I haven't been reading or commenting on blogs either. I'm a horrible human.

But for now... Please observe my art. *Bows*

1.) Here, we have the first hug of the evening. It's cute. It's cuddly. Her hair makes me happy.

 2.) This one is just different. I'm not sure about it. I like her ponytail. She's probably listening to a musical or something.

 3.) I call this one, "Art block at it's finest,"

 4.) "Art block 2.0"

 5.) My sister-in-law asked me to draw a thing, and I did, and I'm mostly pleased with it. But it could use some tweaking.

 6.) The "Memorare" is a great prayer.

(I'm absurdly happy with that veil. Like YES, it actually looks like LACE!)

 7.) We listened to a version of Phantom of the Opera that none of us had heard before. It was an old version ('88, I believe?), with Michael Ball, Dave Willets, and Rebecca Caine, and oh my my. Can we talk about how the earlier casts actually kept the tune? And got their timing right?
And the Phantom didn't scream "GAO KNAOW AND LIIEEAVE MAAAEEE!"??*

8.) What's happening in this one? I have no idea. But I don't like it. Like... at all.

9.) *Whistles*

10.) This cuteness. 

11.) MAX! He hasn't shown up in a while. Poor Max.... I'm not wild about the way the post turned out, but Max is such a sad potato here. 

12.) So.. sometimes when Kate is recovering from injuries, she wears Tristan's shirt cause it's looser and more comfortable. Tristan thinks it's adorable.

13.) And sometimes even the toughest, most hardcore leaders need someone to hug them and let them know they're doing a good job.

Yeah.

I don't know, guys. I've just been... out of it lately. I'm trying to work drawing into my daily routine again, but I'm having a hard time with it, so please bear with me. :)

I'm getting frustrated with our weather here. It snows, and then the snow turns to slush, and then the slush piles up into great, soggy quantities of nonsense that is not only slippery, but also weighs about ten tons per shovelful, and gives me sore shoulders.

Hmph.


Anyway. Enough about the weather. You guys want to see some art?

I haven't drawn a whole lot lately. I wasn't kidding when I said I was socializing all of December. I mean... all of December I didn't have a single night that didn't have something going on. 

*Introverts collectively scream*

I'm not saying it wasn't fun, because we had a blast. But socializing is exhausting, and nonstop is about enough to make me just...

So whether there's a lot or not, I will show you, cause I'm awesome that way. 

1.) Right, here's the, "Oh it's been a long time you've drawn...."

2.) Almost every year I draw something related to "Baby, It's Cold Outside," because that song is adorable. I'm not wild about her right arm, but whatever.

3.) There's this Taylor Swift song, where she says:

"You took the time to memorize me, my fears, my hopes, my dreams,

I just like hanging out with you... all the time. 

All those times that you didn't leave, it's been occurring to me:

I'd like to hang out with you all my life."

And it's frikken cute. Thank you. (And ugh, why do my man-shoulders always turn out so small and not manly?)

4.) In retrospect, this one could have used a few leaves spiraling around, but I didn't think of it when I was drawing, so you're just stuck with no leaves. Such is life.

5.) I got cool art pens for Christmas and spent an afternoon playing with them.

7.) And finally, lastly, and favorite for this week, we have the cute couple one... 'cause... reasons.

Hey guys!

Look at me actually posting and stuff!

I'm working on my life-update post because I have fun things and pictures to share, and I did something brave and I'm delighted with myself. So... yeah. No bragging...

ANYWAY.

Let's get this party started, because I'm pretty sure by the end of this post you're going to either A.) Desperately want to watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, or B.) never want to hear of it again.


1.) Currently I'm an itsy bit in love with a tiny little, metal-armed anime character.

2.) I love him dearly. He has the Napoleon Complex so bad.

3.) I also like his superior officer. That dude is one tough cookie.  (He makes fire. I like pyros.)

4.) In other news, I drew a dancing girl and she's awfully cute.

5.) I also drew a not-as-cute girl, but I'mma post her anyway.

6.) *Sneakily inserts yet another Fullmetal Alchemist fanart*

7.) LOOK AT TRISTAN FLIRTING WITH KATE BECAUSE #OTP. (And when it's Tristan, Kate likes it so.... holla!)

8.) I've always been a little in love with the moment when daddies dance with their little, little girls. IT'S ADORABLE.

9.) So Edward does very cool things...

10.) And holy heck yes can we talk about Roy Mustang? Please and thank you.

11.) ALSO JIM AND PAM ARE LIKE.... RELATIONSHIP GOALS. LIKE WOW. (And let me just say: I'm extremely proud of how well Jim turned out because yes.)

12.) SO! A bunch of us went and saw Magnificent Seven because A.) Wild West. B.) Christ Pratt as a cowboy, like duh.

C.) Underdogs against big bad guys... And sweet heavenly mercy me, that was a good movie. But WOW SAD, LIKE WHOA. I loved it. I loved the sacrifices and the whole Wild West Justice aspect of it, and how surprisingly clean it was. And all the cowboys in their cowboy outfits? Yes. Yes please. Can I just say how hard I've been looking to find a good Western? IT WAS REALLY GOOD.

So here, enjoy this rough, decided-not-to-overdo drawing because cowboys.

It's been a while...

I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY, AND I'M SORRY!

But I did some fun things this week. (Things that I aggressively didn't want to do, because I don't like to try new things. But surprisingly, I didn't hate them...) I went mini-golfing, and boating... and I listened to good music and talked too much and it was exhausting and fun.

Bella made me start Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and I'M MAD because now I want to DRAW Edward, and IT'S TERRIBLE.


Anyway.

1.) BAYMAX IS A FLUFFY MARSHMALLOW, GIVE ME ONE.

2.) Enjoy some Phantom and Christine breakup scene, because yes.

3.) I have a hard time drawing Hiro, but Baymax is easy.... So I'm torn with with picture, because on the one hand EW HIRO, but on the other, LOOK AT BAYMAX.

4.) Jim Halpert is fantastic.

5.) Look at his name tag, aren't I clever?

6.) Sometimes I draw attractive people doing attractive things.

7.) Sympathetic Christine is sympathetic....

8.) This... I don't even know. She's pretty?

9.) BECAUSE REASONS.

10.) So story: One time Sammi and I went out for pizza because.. do you need a reason for pizza? Anyway, there was live music, and the girl performing had this shock of blonde hair and it looked cool, so I made Sammi take a picture and then she sent it to me, and I forgot I had it. BUT THEN I FOUND IT, and I drew it and it turned out well...

Anyway....

Sometimes I fall way behind on blogging, and it's bad and unprofessional, but I'm back, and I intend to be better now. I'm going to go shooting sometime soon, and other cool things, and then I'm going to do a life update, because I haven't done one in a while, and I like to think people are interested. (I'm arrogant, I know.)
