*insert screaming here*

Here is an update on my life. Are you ready for boringness? Yay! I thought I was the only one.

1.) I finished the Dance, Sing, Love picture that I was working on last week. I really like how it turned out. (Never mind that the edges are all funky. They don't look like that in real life... cameras are deceptive.) But it keeps smudging so I'm taking it to Staples to get it laminated. Everyone say "Ooooooooh." I've never done laminating before!

All the separate parts, in case anyone.... cares. :)

2.) Sammi, Kat, and I, (And Sammi's brother and friends.) went to the Renaissance Faire on Saturday, and it was so much fun. I wasn't expecting to have that great of a time, (because... people.) but it was really nice. Next year I'm gonna dress up. Period.

They were not happy.

Le pirate hat
Le Spencer with this new hatchet
Le Green Knight
Le Sign that made me wonder how many people
gnawed on the rope before they deemed it necessary
to tell us not to.

It was delightful.

3.) I have a freaking job interview tomorrow. Can we all take a moment and appreciate how terrified I am? *takes moment* Thank  you! Please pray that it goes well. 'Cause I'm not going to lie, I'm stressing out.

The snake is the interview.
I'm Dean.

I love you all!

Oh, I'm glad! XD Um... how to you mean, like a fax? Or just a picture of it?

  2. Aw, you'll be fine. Now I'll let you get back to internally screaming... or not so internally screaming... 'cause I know those cheesy little "feel better" comments do NOT make you feel better. I wuvs you. *huggles*

Oh they really are. I'm going to dress up next year, because when else am I going to get the opportunity to wear medieval clothes in public and not get looked at funny?? XD

      Thank you! I'll need it.

  4. They are! They are so much fun! Heeee. lol, Oh I'm lucky, Kat and Sammi are both like me and did the awesomeness that I do. We all knew random facts about the historical stuff too. YAY HOMESCHOOLERS. (There were even a couple of things there that made us go, "Well that was inaccurate."

I don't know! I can't write that neatly with cursive, so I print more often than not. When I do it for art I write really slowly, so maybe that has something to do with it. My mom was a perfectionist teacher though, so my whole family has nice handwriting.
I love skirts for that reason. They make movement way easier to draw.
MY STYLE IS LIKE ANIME!??? THANK YOU. ANIME IS WHERE I GET A LOT OF MY INSPIRATION. *dies of happiness*

Thank you. I'm freaking out. lol.

  6. I love the pair dancing! Her skirt is just brilliant. Also, a rennaisance fair sounds especially epic. (You totally have to dress up next time.) ;)

  7. I love the picture!
I've always wanted to go to a Renaissance fair. It sounds like so much fun. I'll have to convince some friends that life is not complete without having gone to a Renaissance fair. :)

  8. I love what you did to the drawing! I think the "Forget where our feet will land and just dance" section is my favorite... it is so hard to choose!

YOU WENT TO A RENAISSANCE FAIRE?! WITHOUT ME?! JK :D I went to one when I was really young, so I don't remember very much :P I might talk Robert into going to one this month though....we're both medieval fans :) Dressing up for those kind of things is awesome, and all the more enjoyable! My family and I re-enacted the Civil War at various festivals in our area (we had a band), and it was tons of fun dressing up :) I'm glad you got to go and enjoy yourself!

Praying that you get the job!!!!!!!!!! Haha, the gif is perfect :D

    1. XD That's my favorite part too. It actually looks like they're dancing and that makes me really happy. lol.

I DID. I AM SORRY. (Heeeey, it's at the same time every year. You should come next time.) lol.

Oh yes! You should go as Arthur and Gwen from Merlin. just.... yeah. lol.

OOh a band? Those are fun. What instrument do you play?

I'm.... not optimistic about the job. Not sure I want it anymore either. Oh well.

  9. 'Ello, Treskie! How did the interview go? I'm sure it went fabulous - you seem like the friendly, responsible type. :) Agreed, job interviews are SCARY. My first job interview was done over the phone, which was really freaky because I couldn't gauge her reactions to what I was saying. What kind of place were you applying to? Restaurant? Retail?

AAH THE SKIRT IS SO SWISHY AND EPIC!! GAH YOU'RE SUCH AN AMAZING ARTIST.

You have a... a REN FAIRE?!! I am absurdly jealous. xD

    Cheers!

    1. 'Ello! Oh... I might have... bombed the interview. Let's just say I'm not too hopeful. lol. (I AM friendly and responsible, I just forget what words are sometimes lol.)
I'd almost thing job interviews over the phone would be easier, because then they can't see you panicking and stare at you. It was a bank, btw. lol.

I'M GLAD SO MANY PEOPLE LIKE THE SKIRT, OMG. LOL.

WE DO! I'm surprised how many people *don't*. You'd think if a town as small as ours could pull off a Ren Faire, bigger cities would be able to, too. :-)

      Cheers!

  11. That picture is amazing!!! And yes, next time you go to the faire dress up, they are more fun that way, trust me 8-D If I lived closer I would let you borrow my cloak.

I miss you. Can I come back? You don't need a job, we will become hermits and go on adventures and just have fun.

Oh, I'm gonna. This year was sort of spur of the moment, so I didn't have time to prepaare. lol. I WOULD TOTALLY STEAL YOUR CLOAK.

I miss you too. And yes, you must. Jobs are stupid and I hate having to get one. Honestly, it's depressing. lol. Hermits are the best! LET'S DO IT.
