Dull, deadly dull.

You know how some people have these awesome blogs....?

Like, they just always put out quality content, and their blog is enjoyable?

They know their niche, and they're good at what they do, whether they blog about books, or art, or fashion. Or they do reviews of everything they watch, or they write amazing poetry, or they just have this way of wording their posts so that even if what they write about is mundane, it's still beautiful to read?

I don't understand those bloggers.

I am not a good blogger.

I'm one of those spastic bloggers who really has no idea what she's doing, but she really loves blogging, so she just keeps going.

But let's be honest here, not a lot of my posts are quality. Most of my posts border on insane, because I basically sit down and let my brain just spew its thoughts into the post.

I don't have a niche.

I don't have a blog schedule. (You guys are lucky if Picture Saturday is consistent.)

I don't put out a lot of quality.

And I know I don't write well.

I'm just here like:

So thank you people for sticking with me even though I'm a nutcase.

Anyway, here's what's been going on in my life.

1.) I got accosted by a Jehovah's Witness, who, when I informed him that I'm too broke to donate to his college fund, handed me this pamphlet.

What the actual heck?

2.) So apparently this person knew they were going to get flowers, and left the delivery person (me) a note.

3.) Seriously, garden roses are gorgeous. (Ridiculously expensive, but gorgeous.)

5.) Delivering flowers is awesome. Delivering when the view the whole drive is this? I'm luckyyy.

5.) Getting Sammi caught up on a TV show with Bella and Tiny? Yasssss.

6.) Sammi Toink decided that the badminton racket was a guitar and sat there making guitar noises and strumming.

7.) We went to the lake. It's been really chilly here lately, in the autumny way, where the sun is super hot, but the wind is kind of biting, so it was a very chilly swim.

8.) Amy and I went to a thrift store yesterday, and I found practically brand new art set, with Artist Loft colored pencils and charcoal and erasers, all inside a beautiful wooden art box, for a buck fifty, so yeah, no brainer. Totally bought it. Amy found an Original Broadway Cast Phantom of the Opera, two disc set, WITH THE LYRIC PAMPHLET-- for a dollar. And since Amy already owns that, I bought it, and it sort of made my day.

9.) Yeeeep, that about sums it up. I don't do things. lol. In fact, when I'm not working, my life tends to look like this.

And endings are hard.

What have you guys been up to??

Cheers!

  1. It amuses me that you used a picture of the Avatar to describe yourself. You're over there like, "Let me turn all glowy and shoot rocks and water and air at you."

I like your posts, and you can draw, I think that makes your life interesting enough. (That and your life sounds like mine, only with mine I do that position while I write. So we can have no life together.)

      Thank you are nice. XD
.... our lives are similar, and we're a perfect match, you're a writer, I"m an illustrator. *blinks at you*

  2. It's funny you got that pamplet because we got one too but different. Someone had left the pamplet on our doorknob of another religion and it's funny because right near the door, we have a statue of Our Lady. How dare they leave their pamplet of their sect. My mom or my sister got mad and threw it away.... I think it was my sister... Anyways, I'm just rambling. How have you been Treskie? :)

    1. Hahaha, they're very persistant. SAME WITH US! Our Lady statue and everything lol. I dunno, I tend to be more like, "no no, I know all about what you're trying to tell me. Catholics knew it first...." lol.

      I'm good! you??

    2. More like stubborn LOL! Oh cool, you have a statue of Our Lady outside too? Awesome!!!

Oh yay! I'm just lazy, LOL!

    1. .... It didn't eat this one, but there isn't another one.... sooo. Yes? Lame. WHAT DID YOU SAY????

You changed your profile pic, I see. lol. It's pretty. But when I glanced at it briefly the first time, I thought your bun was a nose. ....

    2. Drat, it did got eaten.

HERE IS WHAT I SAID though probably not as good as when I first said it. Silly computer.

*crosses arms and stands up to full height*

      TRESKIE. LISTEN YOU HERE.

You are an incredible blogger. I love you. I love your posts. I love your drawings. I love your random family pictures. I love your gifs. I love your randomness. I love your funnyness. I LOVE getting on blogger and seeing that you have posted. It like... makes my day every time. Niche? Pah! Be yourself! It never gets old. (except literally because you are getting older EVERY DAY). I love that you work at a florist shop, and I love hearing about it because it's incredibly bookish. I love your fangirlness and I love your faith.

BASICALLY I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BLOG BECAUSE I LOVE THE GIRL WHO RUNS IT.

SO DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE THE BLOGGER YOU ARE BECAUSE THE BLOGGER YOU ARE IS FANTABULICIOUSLY AWESOMESAUCETASTIC.

So don't be discouraged and don't stop and all that stuff.

Ah, alright, now that that's over *sits down and hands you a cup of tea and brownies* As for what I have been up to, I am home from camp. I am trying to catch up with life. Like emails. That's why I haven't emailed you back yet. I am trying to figure out what I want to do next, while at the same time trying to give up trying to figure out my life because I need to trust that God's got me covered. I am writing my book. It's hard because I feel often like I am a terrible writer and should just give up. I am attempting to draw. It's hard because I'm not good at it. I am trying to spend as much time as I can with Jessika this month. It's hard because she has to write her book. And I am relaxing. It's hard because I always feel like I should be doing something. XD

    3. Aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

*stares up at you, because if you're up to your full height, that's a ways up from me."

Well thank you. (I didn't post it to get attention fyi, I was just thanking people for sticking with me.) It makes me very happy that you love all of that. XD (It makes your day when I post?? Wow.) And it's very encouraging to hear that what I do makes other people happy, so thank you.

I LOVE YOU TOO, SO THERE. HA!

BUT LET ME CLARIFY! I'm not *discouraged*, I just go back and re-read some of my posts and I get the impression that I am incredibly annoying, so then I feel a bit awkward. It's not like I'm going to change the way I blog, because I've tried that before, and all that happened was blogger's block, so yeah, you're stuck with the spastic me. XD I GUESS what what I'm trying to get through is that I would like to be more professional and I suck at that so *that's* where I'm discouraged. lol. DON"T WORRY, I'M ACTUALLY OKAY.

*Accepts tea and brownies because DUH* First of all, catching up with life is exhausting so don't freak out. lol. But you know, it's okay to come up with a plan because God's not just going to hand you a perfect life. Pretty sure he likes it when you fight for something, you feel me?? YAY WRITING IS GOOD. (And you're not a terrible writer, you're funny, so don't do that quitting business.) Attempting to draw is AWESOME and I shall figure out a way to help with that. XD
YAAAAAAAAAY for spending time with Jess! (Is she leaving or something?)
My relaxing is drawing, and I drew so much yesterday that my hand cramped and I HAD to break. THAT IS RUBBISH. But relaxing is good, even God rested on Sunday, see.

Anyway, thank you for your comment, m'dear. You da bessst. And you should take some of your own advice and don't get discouraged either. I WON'T IF YOU WON'T, OKAY??? OKAY.

  5. You ARE a nutcase, I conclude, but then, all the best people are.

The pamphlet. XDDD I love living where I've never actually met a Jehovah's Witness.

You deliver flowers??!??! Eiiii BRING ME SOME

    1. Awwwwww. *sends cyber hugs*

WHAT WHAT HE IMPLYING THOUGH?? LIKE RUDE. Yeah, we have a double whammy because we have Jehovah's Witnesses, but ALSO have Mormons who do the same thing, and their churches are on the same street, and it's like two streets down from us. They've mostly learned to stay away, because we tend to disagree with them, and they've since realized that they're not going to convert us... but we get the occasional person who's like , " I will do it! I will take the challenge" and it's always a bit annoying. lol.

I DO! BUT I THINK YOU'RE PROBABLY OUT OF OUR DELIVERY AREA. LOL.

    1. THANK YOU! And omgosh, really? AW I"M SO FLATTERED! lol.

YES I AM. Well no I'm not. WELL. It's weird. I'm left handed when I write or draw, but literally everything else I do right handed. And I mean everything, from sports to self-defense to chopping vegetables. I do everything right-handed except hold a pencil lol. DON'T ASK ME WHY, I DON'T KNOW.

  8. I do like your blog though! I think the fact that you don't have an exact niche and just kind of do what you want is in part why I like your blog. Also, though I love your art. :D

Delivering flowers sounds like so much fun! and I love your photos. :)

It's so much fun, people get so excited. XD Thank you!

      Thank you.
      RIGHT? MY TOWN IS AWESOME.
It's so freaking annoying, because when the wind isn't blowing it's like, "YASS LET'S DO THIS SWIMMING THING." and then the wind blows and it's like, "NOPE. I'M DONE, I QUIT, I'M OUT...... It's weird that you have supper in Winter. What is wrong with Australia.

      FINE, OKAY, MY DIVA COMMANDS.

  10. No no no you do have a niche it's POTO fanart ;)

Really though, I love your blog lots and I honestly think that because you are so artistically talented you are 100% justified in blogging sharing your work. I love seeing it. And I love reading your other posts too because your family sounds awesome (I wish I had like ten siblings ... how many of you are there, anyway? And what's the age range? Look I'm nosy OK.) and they're just all happy and bubbly and kinda crazy and really good fun.

Glad the flowers are going well! I love that picture of the rose - it is beautiful - and the view is amazing!
