Seeeoooo. Update first, because that's how I roll.
1.) I'm officially going to open my etsy shop on Monday!!!! *screams* You like my art? You like my T-shirts? Stay tuned for the grand opening of me going, "Please, buy my stuff! I wanna go to Disneyland!"
2.) I did not get the job I was interviewed for. (Not surprised, considering I frikken bombed that interview. lol.) Ho hum, oh well, who needs this stress anyway?
3.) ICE CREAM.
So, I have been practicing facial expressions. Because all my faces look like this.
:)
:)
:)
or this
(:
(:
(:
I want more than possessed smileys, thank you very much. Let's just say they all still look like :), so more practice now.
And then we have the "We Are So In Love", that I didn't finish because I was bored and the proportions were wrong.
The "Even More In Love". Hearts and everything!
Coming soon after is the "Trust me, I resemble Annabeth, but less cute."
And last, but not least, the "Go away, I hate you right now."
Actually no, this is the last but not least. My li'l sister drew me Jo and Dean fanart. (all she knows about SPN is what I say about it. And she knows that Dean and Jo were sort of my... SAIL ALL THE WAY... couple.)
Anyway.
People expect bloggers to know what they're doing.
Some of us don't.
Some of us log on to blogger and go, "Eeeh. Dump all the thoughts!"
So yes, I've been blogging for two-and-a-half years, I still have no idea what I'm doing.
This is the part where I sign off, right?
G'night!

*insert screaming here*
Here is an update on my life. Are you ready for boringness? Yay! I thought I was the only one.
1.) I finished the Dance, Sing, Love picture that I was working on last week. I really like how it turned out. (Never mind that the edges are all funky. They don't look like that in real life... cameras are deceptive.) But it keeps smudging so I'm taking it to Staples to get it laminated. Everyone say "Ooooooooh." I've never done laminating before!
All the separate parts, in case anyone.... cares. :)
2.) Sammi, Kat, and I, (And Sammi's brother and friends.) went to the Renaissance Faire on Saturday, and it was so much fun. I wasn't expecting to have that great of a time, (because... people.) but it was really nice. Next year I'm gonna dress up. Period.
It was delightful.
3.) I have a freaking job interview tomorrow. Can we all take a moment and appreciate how terrified I am? *takes moment* Thank you! Please pray that it goes well. 'Cause I'm not going to lie, I'm stressing out.
I love you all!

A Test of Loyalty
Upon learning he is one of the sons of the now dead king, Prince Lachlan is forced to leave the only home he has ever known. Fleeing for his life, his step-brothers a step behind, Lachlan finds safety and friendship with a young seamstress named Magda, a hermit, an Elf, and two Dwarf brothers. Determined to keep the young prince alive, Magda and the others seek out help in the surrounding Nations.
Everywhere they go, the fugitives are constantly turned away. They are followed by Lachlan's half- brothers who are determined to kill him so that one of them might take their father's crown and become the next king. With every place Lachlan is taken, his brothers close in and when the finally catch up Lachlan is forced to face the question that has been haunting him since he left home.
Lachlan was saved in the hopes he would become a better king then his father and his brothers. But the last thing he wants is to sit on the throne. If he refuses the crown, will there be anyone willing to fight to keep him alive?

The Jack of Awesomness |
Jack Lewis Baillot has the ability to wear a red shirt because she
is convinced she is Scottish and therefore immune to expendable dying.
It also helps that she has a last name.
Jack claims the title of Author, which makes her feel like a Time
Lord when she capitalizes it. She has a sonic pen which deepens her Time
Lord claims. She enjoys a good Science Fiction story though spends most
of her time writing Fantasy and Steampunk, or a mixture of both.
She believes cliff hangers are terrible and feels the need to apologize over and over when one of her books ends on one.
When
Jack isn't writing, which doesn't happen often, she goes on long hikes
through the ice lands she calls home. She believes she will one day meet
the Abominable Snowman and share a cup of hot chocolate with him.
You can learn more about Jack's other published work and upcoming books at her website, jacklewisbaillot.com

And now I must go.
We are going to a Renaissance Faire and I'm excited.
Cheers to you all!

Picture Saturday || Again
That's just the way I roll.
So we have fanart for the Ascendance Trilogy.
1.) Le coin roll from the first book....which started out super well, and then ended up looking like this.
I like it...... but it's just enough off to make my skin crawl.
2.) Le picture that applauds Jaron and Tobias's epic friendship.
I liked how the original sketch turned out, so I'm posting both the before and after shots.
3.) Le quote from the last book that made me go "Oooo-ho-hoh, Jaron."
4.) And then we have the random collage thing that I'm still working on. I was listening to Dance by Mario Frangoulis, and was just like, "Gotta draw something."
Let's dance, like there's nobody watching,
sing, as if no one is listening to
what you're hearing.
Love like you've never been hurt before.
Forget where our feet will land
And just
Dance

I apologize for this post.
Le Five Random Facts:
1.) I finally watched Star Wars! Well the first two. (or the middle two. The first two of the originals. Can I just say that's it's silly to start a series in the MIDDLE of a series!?)
Anyway, I loved them! I think they're fun, and corny, and so.... then. *happy sigh*
Bella and I sat there giggling, because my dad kept going on about how it was a huge step in digital effects, and how amazing it was, and we were just like, "Oh my gosh, these effects are so adorable."
I will say that Yoda was not what I was expecting. I mean, talk backwards, I knew he did, but annoying, I found him. A psychiatric hospital, he might need.
OOH OOH, but there were parts where I fangirled absurdly, because I knew they'd be in the movies, but it was weird to actually hear them:
So those parts happened, and I kept punching Bella and going, "THEY SAID THE THING."
So yes. I quite enjoyed them. Now I need to finish the series....
3.) I decided to do this challenge. For me. In my journal. Just because.
4.) I've been drawing fanart for the The False Prince and attempting illustrations for Jack's next book. I informed Jack that I tried over and over to do one of the illustrations and ended up crying and eating chocolate because it wouldn't turn out.
5.) So I watched the season 9 finale of Supernatural........
Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope!
Seriously! Not even a little okay! Not at all! Not even sort of! Quite honestly, possibly the worst finale yet, and that's saying a lot.
I have being around all day like this:
This show is miserable, stay away from it!
6.) The Etsy shop thing is almost up. I'm just having a hard time.... getting the stuff to sell. The Fates are against me. Soooooooooooon.
7.) I started watching Merlin! (we're up to season four.) They are quite delightful and addictive. I love shows that make me cry.
Definitely recommend it.
And that is my meager, horrible, tide-you-over post.
I will do a proper one soon.
Cheers and tears to you all!
