Picture Saturday -- May {2}

I don't know how to start this post, so I think I might jump right into it.

My brain is thinking all sorts of different things at once, and I'm a little too distracted to deal with it right now.

1.) Currently, I'm just experimenting with the toned paper I have, and I'm trying to figure out how to make it even more awesome. So here, I think she's the moon.

2.) I have epic plans for this one, so it's not done yet. BUT IT STILL LOOKS GOOD so I'mma post it anyway.

3.) I watched this video of Thinking Out Loud, and discovered that I have a type. I didn't realize how much of a type I had until two of my sister and my best friend were like, "He's not that cute." and I was like, "BUT HE'S A NERD." and... yeah.

4.) Sometimes I hang out at my sister's private lesson and draw her when she's singing.

5.) WE WATCHED CIVIL WAR TWICE AND THEY'RE NOT BROS. Ehem. So I drew Cap, and then next week I'm going to draw Iron Man, because I'm still viciously Team Get Along.

I'm gonna add color and highlights and shadowing and it's going to be epic.

6.) Random couple that I don't actually like because she looks like she's crying and that was not my intent.

7.) This really terrible Max picture because guns... He's stiff. It irks me. I am quite terribly irked.

8.) So then I did a more in-depth portrait of the guy. Max is the eye-candy of Tristan and Gang and it's ridiculous how proud he is of it.

Kat and I are going on a Marvel rewatch because Civil War. We're going to watch all the Marvel movies over the next week or so, and it's going to be.... wait for it.... Marvelous. Eheh. Ehehe. Hehehe. I'm so freaking hilarious.

Okay, ladies, question time!

Overall favorite?
Black and white?
Colored?
Have you seen Civil War?
How have you been?

Cheers and God bless!

But then I turned on the radio...

I'm on day seventeen!

... ... ... ... ... ... ... Yay.

Hehe!

I feel like I started this challenge like:

And then about a week in, I was more like:

And now, I'm like, "How do I start another post!?"

Hehehe. I feel like that guy in Jumanji when I start a new 'challenge' post.

But anyway! It's day seventeen, and I need to post a song I hear often on the radio.

I always hear Justin Timberlake's Mirrors.

But I'm not going to do his version, because I don't like him.

So here is Cimorelli's cover of it.

And now I'm going!

A giveaway and other things of meager importance!

So.

I'm back!

Right, I've been meaning do this for a while, but it completely slipped my mind.

Hilda is having a giveaway over at her blog! And it is a fun giveaway. And y'all should enter it. Soon. Enter it soon, because you'd win this:

and this:

Both of which would be fun to own, would they not?

Anyway, to enter, one must answer the questions below. (there are other ways to enter, if you follow the above link.)

QUESTIONS:

1.) If you could spy without being seen, which celebrity would you spy on?
You know, honestly? I don't think I would.... I sort of stalk all my favorite celebrities online, but other than that, honest-to-goodness spying on them seems a liiiittle bit creepy.

2.) What would you do if you teleported over to your celeb's house?
     Probably freak out.

 Maybe hyperventilate a little.

Eh... Maybe if I was feeling like.... super brave....

3.) Would you lend your magical ring to someone else? Who?
Probably one of my sisters or my best friend.

4.) Would you spy on your crush and friends?
No! No no no. That's not me at all. I feel bad eavesdropping

5.) Would you tell anyone of your secret (magical ring) ?
A magical ring? A... ring... of power? *cue Lord of the Rings music*

You know, to be honest, I don't think I'd be able to keep the secret. I'd be like, "LOOK AT THIS RING!"

6) What would you wish for?
Hmm... Maybe to be less of an introvert.

7.) Finally, why would you like to win this giveaway? Be honest. ;)
Books, my dear Hilda, are always a lovely thing. Indeed. I would like to win.

Right, on to the things of meager importance.

Kat, Amy, my mom, and I all went out shopping today. (World Market, thrift stores, Michaels, Barne&freakingNoble.....)

And I got books.

I got I'd Tell You I Love You but then I'd Have to Kill You, which is the first book of the Gallagher Girls series. (seriously, a must read series. So funny and clever.)

And I also got a beautiful copy of The Virginian, which is a really good book that... I surprised myself by thoroughly enjoying.

Both of those were at the thrift store for insanely good prices.

And then we went to B&N, and I saw the newly released last book of the Gallagher Girls series. I had a minor freak out moment, because I've sort of been dying to know what the heck happens.

So I bought it.

And I regret nothing.

Seriously, if you've never read the Gallagher Girls, you're really missing out.

And now that I have bored you all silly.

I shall bid you all a very fond farewell.

Cheers!
