What up!

How do you blog?

I forget.

It was a crazy week, and I was worn out by Saturday evening. (And I didn't even do that much overtime!)

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, by the way!

I think I really need to work on resolutions, because I drew like.... thrice last week. And I didn't even do the next pony!

I am a failure.

And when my nieces ask where the next pony is, I have to tell them she's not done yet, and they look so sad, I'm a terrible aunt.

Oh well. In the words of Bertie Wooster, "One has tried, one has failed, one can do no more."

SO here's what happened lately.

1.) I drew some fun pictures which I did not post on Saturday because I worked and I didn't have energy after. I shall post them next Saturday.

2.) I stayed with the Sammi over the weekend while her family was out of town. We ate good food and watched Supernatural and Indiana Jones and I showed her the first episode of Agents of SHIELD and she likes Ward.

Sammi is my most favorite person. She is quite fabulous.

She's a ranger, I'm a hobbit, and I am at a disadvantage.
Cause I'm freaking short.
And that sword is basically a dagger.

2.) Basically, this whole week was preparation for Valentine's Day at the florist, and it gets really busy there, 'cause it's like the one day of the year guys remember to tell their ladies that they actually like them.

So we recruited extra delivery people. (My dad joined in.) And Sammi also helped out.

We got teamed up to do deliveries! It wasn't a bad way to spend Valentine's Day, actually. We blasted a mix of Josh Groban and country music, and sang, and made fun of people.

3.) On Sunday, the shop was closed so we all took the day to relax and chill out, so we went on a hike near our house.

It was really nice, it was really refreshing. Naturrrrrreeeeee!!!! Nature makes me happeh.

And we ate lunch and we climbed a rocky thing and were on top of the world.

And group shots, because I have a thing for pictures.

4.) Monday was good, we had a pre Fat Tuesday celebration, with stuffed mushrooms, and bruschetta, and pizza. And we watched Guardians of the Galaxy.

I did not go into it thinking it was going to be Avengers caliber. SO! I freaking loved it. I thought it was hilarious and fun. And I chortled copiously.

And now whenever I talk to Sammi, I go, "I AM GROOT." and she just looks at me. And I'm like, "I AM GROOT." and she goes, "Shut up." "I AM GOOOOOT."

Basically, it was actually a pretty good week, despite my resolution falling through the cracks a little.

And now I'm going to go, because I have to watch some stuff before Lent starts. LENT IS COMING! And I need to party before it happens.

Bai.

Stuff. And more stuff. And what does the fox say?

Uuuhhnnggg.

I've backspaced that first line like a bazillion times, trying to think of something awesome  to say.

Unfortunately, nothing came to mind, so uuuhhnnggg is all you're going to get. *smirk*

But hey ho, here we go. Several of us ventured out to a great and beauteous valley full of trees and autumness yesterday!

We brought books, and food, and coffee, and it was freaking epic.

Seriously. It was gorgeous.

So we feasted and talked about fictional characters.
And then carved our names into a fallen tree. (since it was already dying, we did not feel guilty, carving it up.)

And proceeded to take full advantage of the beautiful scenery and have photo shoots.

See my cute new boots? Happiness, right there.

Yeah, it was really, really fun. I think it's good for the soul to be outside on days like that.

"Earth's crammed with heaven,
and every common bush afire with God."
-- Elizabeth Barrett Browning

I've been feeling really random lately. Because I am a fool, and wondered what the big whoop was about Ylvis the Fox, I looked up that video.

Yeah, I'm a moron.

Now, I go around sporadically yelling, "WHAT DOES THE FOX  SAY!?" at my little sisters who obligingly chorus, "Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!"

My mother is going to lose her mind soon.

On top of that, because of this one silly episode of Supernatural, I've taken to roaring, "FIGHT THE FAIRES!" at random intervals and cackling fiendishly to myself.

Speaking of Supernatural, I'm a little embarrassed, but I decided to post the Dean inspired outfit. I feel cool when I wear it. How sad is that?

Aaaand now! For the challenge.

sigh.

Day 22: A song you listen to when you're sad

When I'm sad, I listen to sad songs.

So I can be more sad. Haha!

Actually, no. I listen to sad songs-- or rather-- melancholy songs, because they help me get my emotions out. So hmmm. Here's one.

Is Nothing Sacred Anymore by Russell Watson

Is nothing sacred anymore?
Is forever just another word?
Is a promise something people used to keep
When love was worth fighting for?

If we can say good-bye,
If we can say good-bye,
Is nothing sacred anymore?

Sad song.

.... ... ... ... FIGHT THE FAIRIES!

Cheers!

Take a little walk in the country with me.....

So, Kat, Amy, and I went on a hike today, and it was funz!!! It wasn't really up in the mountains, it was nearer the lake with lots of granite boulders to clamber upon willy nilly. (Though, truth be told, I didn't clamber much. I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to heights and bouldering. I'm like, "It's four feet off the ground! I'm going to fall! I'm going to die!" Drastic, I know, but I can't help it. So I tend to stay firmly planted on un-life threatening soil, clicking embarrassing pictures. MWAAHAHAHAA!)

Because both Amy, and Kat are also doing a post on this, I shall not be putting up loads of pictures.... (if you want to see more of my face look at theirs. *smirk*)

And just to finish off the pictures.... Amy made this for me. I love it! It's so funny and pretty to look at.

So now I shall leave you with this song. It's basically how I felt today.

Cheers and God bless!
