Picture Saturday-- which involves a lot of color.

So, I've been wanting to work on drawing landscapes for  a while now. I just keep putting it off because...... well, I'm not that great at them, and I really don't like doing stuff I'm not good at.

But I decided to go for it.

And added a wee person. 'Cause I figured..... what the heck? There's still mountains and trees and..... stuff.

I think it turned out pretty well. *wink*

I'm really loving her skirt. She looks like she has a happy.

Cheers and cheerio!

Treskie!

  2. Oh my gosh, I love your drawing! It's so happyful and pretty. I'm not that great at drawing landscapes either, and so all my people have white blank backgrounds. Your landscape is pretty, though! I think it's quite good. The whole picture looks like it could be an illustration in a lovely little children's story. :)

    1. lol... happyful....

Most of my people have white blank backgrounds also. This is a rarity.

But oooooooooooh you really think so?!?!! YAY! I'd like to be that someday-- a kid's illustrator

  3. It certainly did turn out well! She's so sweet! She looks like the sort of gangly, lovably clumsy sort of girl who has loads of friends and is utterly at home in the forest. Simply gorgeous!

  5. That is so cool! My landscapes suck. Acutally, my full people suck as well. But that's beside the point. It looks great! Like an illustration you'd find of Little Red Riding Hood in a picture book. :)
