Picture Saturday!!

Hey!

So, I not only finished W.A.R.P. (which I will need to do a book review on, because it was really awesome.) I finished the paper dolls too!!! WHAT'S UP!!!

Firstly, the paper dolls. Paper dolls are pretty easy, just time consuming if you want to do a good job. But look at how cute they are! Gah. I should go into Disney Princess Designing or something. Hehehehehe!!

Look at all those clothes!

And.... modelling their clothes!

I think... I might need to make a few for the four little girls in the house. Because they sat next to me the whole time I was drawing and colouring and cutting out, like my own personal fan club, saying things like, "I love her!" or, "Wow, Tressie, I wish I could draw like you." or, "I would buy those clothes." Adorable, kidlets!

And now, we have the profile shot....

And the finished Dragon Slippers one I posted last time.

And now I'm going to leave ya'll, because we're watching Real Steel, and really love that movie, soooooo....

You should watch it. :)

Byeee!

  2. They are so adorable! I made paper dolls once, and was so proud of them....not any more D: I shall have to try again. I wish I had a little girl to make them for....hmm, I shall have to coax my brother and his wife into having a daughter. Then I can be Awesome Artistic Aunty Emily! XD

    1. Thank you!!

Don't get discouraged, m'girl. You just have a different style of drawing than I do.

Oh, having nieces is always fun. It's like being an older sister. Oh, I like that, Triple A, Emily. lol.

  3. Please go into Disney design. I saw a picture of a princess in boots sprawled out in a chair with a book, and I wanted to watch a Disney Princess movie with a princess like her.

Very nice on the paperdolls! You're very talented. Were I there I would have been one of your adoring fans.

Speaking of which....I wanted to talk to you about something but I don't have your email. I was wondering if you would mind sending it to me?

    1. I wonder how I would go about getting into that sort of thing.

OOh! I saw that princess too! And I was like, "That must happen. She would be an awesome princess."

Would you like a paper doll?? :D

Oh, I'll shoot you an email as soon as I'm done here...because now, I'm super curious. Hehehe.

  5. I have the same feelings as you when it comes to large groups of people. I don't mind people, if there are just a few and I know some of them. But lots of them, all at once, I usually find a corner and plot out my books...

Ooo! I've heard of The Sherwood Ring. It is on my to read list. And now Lark is as well after reading Amy's book review of it.
Money...for books. I know how that feels. I've a list saved on Amazon, a growing list, because while I am always finding new books I want, I'm never finding the money to buy them with.

    1. Hehe, I always find a secluded corner. It's actually getting to be a problem, because my friend's little brother even noticed it, and he sits there bringing me water and cookies and telling me I'm funny. Which is nice. But a little embarrassing. Hehe.

Those two books are my comfort books. I love them. And they have good romances that aren't annoying or in your face and happen without you even realizing it. Hehe!

Hehe, money for books is a rarity and I always feel guilty spending more than a few dollars on myself. Hehe, I think Kat's Want List on amazon has something like... $600 worth of stuff. She goes on and drools over it occasionally. lol.

  7. Wow...I wish I could draw like you! My drawing talent is so awesome that I could probably qualify for the Worst Artist in the Guinness World Book of Records. ;)

  8. Yep, good job. I haven't made paper dolls for yearses, my precious. Too bad you're giving these away, hey?

(Actually, my Amazon cart is higher than $600 now. I've added a few more things. :) Good thing there's that "save for later" button, isn't it?

  10. Aw, thank you, Clair. :D :D :D :D

Oh, I'm SO glad you don't mind me doing the pictures for book two. I was a little worried you might be sad that it wasn't you. I haven't seen Jack's post yet, because my computer is gone and I've been having to borrow other peoples', but I shall be going over there promptly. :D (Incidentally, I saw the pictures you did for book one, and I really hope I can measure up to your standards; you are GOOD, girl!

Thanks for the luck, though! I can't wait to read the books so I can get started. :D
